"After 3 decades of every few years replacing various pieces of rotted wood trim on our house with PVC I decided to take the leap and replace all the wood trim that had the potential to rot all at once. LCT Construction had just done an excellent job replacing my roof and I picked them for the trim work. The salesman James who I worked with was more knowledgeable than all the others I've dealt with, was direct when discussing various options and details, and was committed to doing quality work. It's hard to judge these days, but I think their price was very reasonable. At the beginning of the work James came by and we reviewed exactly what was to be done to make sure there were no misunderstandings. The day before work started they dropped off the material they needed for the job along with a dumpster (with wood under the skids to protect the driveway) for the discarded wood. The workers were here every week day with the exception of 1 rainy day even on days in late November when it was very cold until the job was complete. Each day they started around 8:00 am and didn't leave until it got dark, and they cleaned up before they left. All my interaction with everyone on the crew was friendly and relaxed and we were happy to have them around. On the last day they cleaned everything up and removed the dumpster that evening. Every aspect of their work was excellent. I'm no expert, but I've had a lot of trim repaired over the years and this is the best I've seen. I couldn't ask for better workmanship. During the work they discovered some rot that needed to be repaired. They did it for a reasonable charge, and there was never any attempt to up sell or expand the scope of work. The only negative was that they told me the day before the agreed starting date that they needed to slip by 2 weeks. I wish that hadn't occurred but compared to everything else it's not significant. If I ever need trim or roofing work again I'll definitely contact LTC. They were completely professional and easy to work with, did exactly what they said they'd do with no hassle, and I couldn't ask for a better result. I recommend them without reservation for any roof or trim work."

"We just had our roof replaced by Global Roofing. It was amazing to work with Andrea and Freddy. We couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience! We got several quotes for our roofing job, changed our mind about the material along the way (went from metal to asphalt), and Andrea and Freddy were great throughout the process. "I own some rental property that I don't live in and I contacted Rich to come out because the roof on a small addition was leaking. He came out pretty quickly, I did not have to be present which is always nice because it's difficult for me to get out there during the week. The day after Rich came out I had the quote for the roof replacement in my email. The cost was on the lower side of three quotes I had for the job. I contacted Rich to tell him I liked the proposal and to schedule the job, they came out a week and a half later and replaced the roof. It looks good and no longer leaks! One of the reason's I was so impressed with this company is that when I received the proposal to repair the roof it noted that some of the plywood was rotted and may need to be replaced,it gave a price to have all the roof decking done. When the crew was at the property they did find that several of the plywood sheets needed to be replaced. The crew took the time to photograph the rotted wood so that I knew and could see they were damage and they weren't trying to inflate the price. That kind of attention to detail is why I recommend this company and will use them again."

The estimate was a very good value being winter here in New England. I accepted the offer. I was given two possible dates for the work to be done. He and his crew arrived the very next since there was a snow storm in the forecast. I watched as they repaired the damaged plywood and put on the new roof. "Howard construction dis a great job replacing my roof. I initially called them after a big storm to replace some shingles. They came out the day after the storm (Saturday) to do the repair. I was so impressed with Howard that I had him quote me a replacement for the roof. He was quick to provide the quote and was able to get the job done quickly. The roof looks great. "Not only could they paint it, but they painted it well! Even before the painting, I walked outside and looked at my newly washed vinyl siding and vinyl deck and exclaimed "wow!" They did an excellent job of all parts. They even took a piece of the railing to the paint store so that they would match the color. I had checked with another company which had an A report card here on Angie's List but Hector's was much better by price and made me feel better. I should note for anyone who wants to get both of these done that the cost of the painting/staining is higher than the cost of the power washing. But even though painting isn't there primary job, the results look like it was. they pressure wash by actually using a chemical to melt off the mold/algae/whatever it is, then use water to rinse it away. They were professional, friendly, trustworthy, everything you look for in someone doing a big job. Excellent all-around."
