They even removed all the downspouts. While replacing some wood was part of the job, they identified, and replaced wood that I didn't know was bad. When they were done the only things left were a sparkling house and barn; no other indication that they were there. They should be the first company that you call."

They helped me hire a public adjuster and would periodically check-in with me to assure me that I hadn't been forgotten and that the adjuster was still working on my case. Ultimately, they were right about the damage being covered by insurance and after a few months insurance agreed to cover it. Russell Hill quickly scheduled the replacement after confirmation and actual install of a ~1800 sq ft house roof replacement (including some roof element upgrades) took a day. Their staff was friendly, responsive, and helpful."

"I don't think we could have asked for a smoother project. This was the biggest home improvement project we've undertaken since building the house in 1988. Needless to say, we were nervous; however, David Wilson, owner of Apex, put our minds to rest taking time to explain the advantages of the replacement product and each step his crew would take along the way. We began our discussions with David in the Fall of 2017 and Apex was offering some incentives to fill out their work calendar. David's price was very fair (not the cheapest, but by far not the highest). His amiable personality and fair-minded spirit made the decision to go with Apex much easier. Unfortunately, the weather in late 2017 was miserable and David called to suggest that we consider doing the project in the Spring. His concern was that the siding could get completed, but he knew my wife wouldn't want just a primed house sitting all winter before the temperature would be high enough to allow for painting. A credit to David, because he gave us his honest opinion of starting a big job with weather most unpredictable while, at the same time, ensuring us that all of the 2017 incentives he offered would hold for the project, even though delayed. David's crew was simply wonderful. During the demolition phase, they were careful to see that all material made it properly to the waste container and each evening, they would organize their materials in preparation for the next day. They worked quickly and efficiently, touching base with us to share project status and process. The foreman and crew were respectful and we had no concerns, as we left the house periodically, to allow them access to our facilities. I think these simple gestures of consideration go a long way. In the end, the project completed in short order, was installed exactly as promised and there were no change orders. The cost of the project was approximately $30,000 and the amount I paid David was exactly as he proposed. Both my wife and I find ourselves amazed that for our first major project on our home of 29 years, it came off without a hitch and that is certainly credit to David and his entire Apex Design Build team!"

"They were wonderful. The sq footage of the house is 1300sq foot, and it is one story. When I called them, I wanted them to come right out, but they said that it would be better to wait, until the tree had shed all it's leaves, or else it would fill right back up. They said to wait a week or so, and then they called and asked if the leaves were out, and I say yes, so they set up an appointment for the next week. They called on the day of the job, and said they had 4 jobs, and they kept calling during the day letting me know what time they were there. It was cold, and rain when they came, but they still did it, and they were wet, but they still did a great job doing it. I was tickled to death getting it done that cheap. They were very nice guys, and they were workmen. They were doing what they had to do, and they did it very professionally. They were just really good at what they did."
