"<p>The owner stopped by to see how I liked their original service.  They had cut down 6 trees and cleaned up 3 other trees for me.  The owner and I agreed that I should have 3 of the tree stumps ground down  and have new loom put down. It was the best decision I could have made.  The service was exceptional and his team were great and I really can't believe how good it looks.  He came back numerous times during the work cycle to make sure that it was coming along the way we had agreed upon.  </p> <p>This is a company that goes out of their way to provide the best service at I believe the best price.  </p> <p>I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality service and professionalism.</p>"

"Jordan and Hannah Estabrooks at Estabrooks Farm & Garden LLC provide high quality service. They truly know their stuff and are dedicated to doing a job well done. It was a pleasure to work with them and they really go the extra mile to make sure everything is taken care of, happy, and healthy. A lot of landscaping companies tend to cut corners these days to make a buck, but these guys are the real deal. They prioritize their relationship with clients and know their trade well."

"I think it went very well. They were there when they said they would be. There was 1 week of rain, they did what they could and kept me posted on when they would be back, and they were. <br>I had a good Idea of what I wanted and had done some homework but I needed help with some things. They were very forthcoming and helpful, they worked with me through out the whole process. I could not have ask for better. I'm happy with the outcome. My Patio looks great and so do the stoops. <br>Also, they took great care in making sure my lawn was not torn up."

"Mike arrived on time, assessed the job, we went to Home Depot to purchase the supplies and he was able to complete the entire job. The closet looks great, and I would definitely use Mike again for future jobs."

"The job went very well. Two of the guys were there full time, the stone mason and his assistant. The arrived on time each morning, worked hard all day long and left the site in good shape every night except for the pile of natural stone that they were working with sitting in the lawn. Upon completion they left the extra stone for us to use where we wanted and cleaned up all evidence that they'd been here. The wall looks GREAT and at this writing has held up well for 2.5 years with no problems."

FAQs for lawn care aeration projects in North-westchester, CT

Aeration is the best way to keep your lawn healthy and vibrant. Annual aeration makes your lawn more breathable and helps nutrients reach the roots, improving water absorption and reducing puddles where pests might breed. However, timing matters. It's best to avoid aerating during droughts, extreme heat, or if your lawn is battling weeds. A local pro can help you determine the ideal time for your yard.

Most lawns benefit from annual aeration to keep them healthy and thriving. If your lawn has a lot of thatch buildup—more than half an inch—you might need to aerate twice a year for a couple of years to get it under control. But if your soil isn't compacted and there's minimal thatch, you might be able to skip a year.

When you hire a professional lawn care company, a standard 10,000-square-foot lawn takes about 30 minutes to aerate. Uneven, sloped, or especially large lawns can take significantly more time. So, depending on your lawn's size and condition, the process can take anywhere from half an hour to several hours.

The best time to aerate your lawn is during the spring or fall when your grass is actively growing and the soil has enough moisture. Aerating once in the spring and once in the fall yields the best results. Avoid aerating when your lawn is dormant or right after heavy rain when the soil is too wet—that can make aeration less effective.

Even if your lawn looks healthy, aeration can still be beneficial. If you have good growth, proper drainage, and little thatch, you might not need to aerate right away. Regular aeration helps water and nutrients reach the roots, keeping your lawn strong over time. Keep an eye on your lawn's condition to decide when it might need aeration.
