The challenge came from the adjacent conservation area and town. There were other patios that had been built in this complex without approval from the conservation officer. This created a scenario that meant my project would be scrutinized and managed to the nth degree. Rodrigo was amazing. He knew what was happening and understood town politics. He was patient and willing to work with the conservation group as they adjusted the requirements a few times.
