"In April 2026, our broken cast iron pipe needed to be replaced, but we didn’t know how extensive the repair would be. From Angi's referrals, we called Full Swing Plumbing who arranged for Nick, one of their plumbers, to come to our house that same afternoon. Full Swing waived the dispatch fee. Nick used his endoscope camera to see the extent of the problem. (They had a coupon on their site which offered this one-time, free service.) After a couple hours, they were able to identify the problem, present a few solutions, as well as a final estimate before they left that day. We agreed on the approach and set a date for the following week. Nick and his co-worker were friendly, deeply knowledgeable, and hard-working. They communicated well, taking photos for us throughout the process. They cleaned up everywhere, completed the job in one day, and they kept to their price. Everything worked well from the single visit."

"I had washed 2 heavy scatter rugs in my 30+ year old Whirlpool.  Next time I used the washer, the water would not work to fill the machine. I called  Gallagher Appliance Repair, and Chris Gallagher came to fix it..  I was very impressed with this young man and how he worked to track down the cause of the problem. He was also very personable and explained to me what he was doing. I enjoyed talking with him.
He found the problem and fixed it. The machine worked. The charge was $90.00.
Later when I went to use the machine, the water filled but drained right out.  I called Chris and he told me that unfortunately it was the timer and he would have great difficulty finding parts because the machine was so old. I needed a new machine, and I asked him, in his experience, which was the best brand to purchase.  I  purchased that brand and was very happy with it.
Chris refunded me $40.00 on that service call, and I was very happy with how it all worked out.  I would most certainly call Chris at

"This was our second renovation project with B&B because of the outstanding job they'd done for us renovating other parts of the house. As we expected, Mark and Scott approached the work as if they were renovating their own homes. They never hesitated to take additional time to solve a problem in the best way possible, and frequently made suggestions that improved the overall outcome. As with the first project, they were either on the job, or if work was being done by one of their subcontractors (also first-rate), they followed up to make sure the work was done properly and as planned. If you're reading this, as we read other reviews before starting our first project, one important consideration is cost. We've found B&B prices to be fair. They're neither the least, nor the most expensive renovation contractors around. Most importantly, as the result of the way in which they approach their work, we've always felt that we've gotten more than our money's worth."

"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
