"My wife and I hired Chris to complete a patio install with a square fire pit in the middle. After choosing a design and different pavers from different manufacturers Chris was able to obtain all the needed materials and did a fantastic job."

"These guys (and Rebecca) are easy going, eager to please. They did exactly what i asked for and a bit more. Kudos! Driveway done with a grade increase (~12 or so) on 1/4 of the driveway, made it a little tricky. I am super satisfied! We also had a street to driveway incline that got adjusted, for our ease of entrance. Great jobâ ¦"

"Excellent work ethic. Greg came looked at the job quoted, it got the job, and met my expectations . The day was hot and sunny and Greg worked steady for 6 hours applying his masonry skills that had been honed for over 30 years of experience. He re- grouted the associated flagstone ,filled in the chimney vent cracks for proper venting of the water boiler and hot water heater and re-faced the entire venting network ( connected to the chimney) to like new ( as it was 41 years old)! He even installed new vent covers that I had purchased that were oversized for the original vent holes! Good man here! I highly recommend him Jerry Z Hampton NH."

"Amazing! Jeremy and his crew worked solidly for a week and finished the first phase of our work which included the patio, steps down hill, walkways and driveway. The perched beach and steps into the lake were done in a timely manner when DES allowed work to be done in the lake area."

FAQs for brick and stone patios, walks, and steps installation projects in Nottingham, NH

When cleaning your flagstone patio, begin by gently hosing off loose dirt and debris. Use a mild solution of white vinegar and water or diluted dish soap to scrub the surface with a soft-bristled brush. Avoid using abrasive tools, such as wire brushes, as they can damage the stone’s seal and finish. This careful approach effectively removes mold and grime while preserving the natural beauty of your patio.

Flagstone naturally offers a neutral palette that includes shades of grey, black, red, yellow, brown, and tan, and its inherent color cannot be altered. Choosing varieties like bluestone provides a subtle bluish tint that complements many exterior designs. These natural hues enhance curb appeal and create a refined, timeless look in your outdoor space, ensuring a sophisticated finish with minimal upkeep.

Flagstone for a patio must have a minimum thickness of 1.5 inches to reliably support furniture and foot traffic. Using stone that is two to three inches thick is recommended to ensure lasting durability. The increased thickness prevents cracking under load and enhances long-term performance. Investing in thicker flagstone provides superior stability and resistance to weather conditions, ensuring your outdoor space remains both safe and attractive.

You can paint a flagstone patio by using a high-quality, outdoor elastomeric latex paint designed for heavy foot traffic. Painting not only refreshes the patio’s appearance but also creates a waterproof barrier that protects the stone from damage. Regular reapplication every one to two years maintains its durability and visual appeal, ensuring your patio remains both stylish and well-protected.
