"My positive experiences go back many years with the owners John & Tony of Friendly Tree. Then they came to top off my three aristocat pears. John came by in late July to assess my tree work and while I was concentrating on my 13 holly trees he was eying those pears. He told me they need to come down or be topped. I know John is a horticulturist but I didn't listen. On August 4 Topical Storm Isaias split my pears. Miraculously the substantial damage was only to my property. Tony arrived soon after and made a proposal to take down the trees. They were $600 under the local competitor. As a bonus, John wrote a detailed proposal that was honored by my insurer. "The job as promised went very well at a reasonable price. They worked efficiently & safely cutting down 80 feet tall tree & cleanly trimmed other surrounding trees. They cut the trees into firewood & stacked it neatly in my backyard. They gave me a nice chopping board (from their previous job site) which they screwed into a tree trunk they cut from my backyard which they carried onto my deck. Looking at it, it can be use as a chopping board when grilling or a bistro table- cant wait to use it in one of our bbq parties. The crew left my yard cleaner than when they came in. Alex the owner stayed on site the whole time working with his crew and making sure safety is maintained. Overall, Im very satisfied with their work & will not hesitate to hire him again. "Julio responded promptly, coming out to give me an estimate that afternoon. He assessed both trees, said he could remove the maple without damage to my neighbor's shed, and said the other tree was alright. (He could have said it needed to come down too, and increased the job for himself and the cost to me, but he didn't.) He took down the split maple safely, without touching my neighbor's shed, and removed all the debris, including some branches that weren't part of the tree's being taken down. I am impressed by his professionalism and honesty. His price was very reasonable, and his willingness to do a relatively small job much appreciated. I would hire him again without question."
