Tom called to notify us he was on his way and arrived on time and was very polite and professional. "I had thought I purchase two hours of electrical service only to be informed that the actual work scope was essentially limited to changing light bulbs, fixtures on an existing circuit, or trouble shooting an existing problem....things that I can handle for the most part on my own. Even if I had all the materials to add a fixture onto an existing circuit, that was not considered part of the contracted scope. I also had been trying to arrange for someone to be home during period of time that service could be performed, and finally arranged for someone for an entire week (starting Monday 3/20) to permit the work to occur. "City Lights Electric did a great job. This was a bit more involved than a basic fan install since there was no previously existing wiring in the ceiling. I did have to do a little finish work after the job was done. I had to finish patching a few holes that they needed to make in order to run the new wiring. They did do an initial coat to plug holes but definitely not a finish coat. No surprise though as I figured I'd have to do some of that anyway. They cleaned up the work site perfectly when done. They were on time, professional, and very friendly. I believe their pricing is in line with other companies. I will definitely call them anytime I have the need for an electrician. The project manager was easygoing, skilled, honest and perfectionist!! For sure there was no pressure of any kind which caused us to feel very comfortable with him. We decided to remodel our kitchen & the backyard. The work included the installation of artificial turf, plants/flowers while the kitchen was completely updated. They installed new cabinets (upper and lower), countertops, backsplash tiles, lights, paint and more... the new kitchen absolutely looks gorgeous and the house is like a new one.
