"Facing replacing the shingles on my roof was a new adventure for me. Zack was most helpful in explaining the procedure and followed through on every detail. He is most professional and knowledgeable and the job was performed timely, efficiently and with very minimal inconvenience. The workers were fast and efficient and cleaned up amazingly thorough. The old shingles had to be removed, plywood placed before the new shinlges were installed. It made for a lot of hard work and created a bit of a mess. However my yard, patio and pool area was in perfect condition at the completion of the job. They even crawled under the bushes to gather and remove any fallen material. The support from Zack was professional and timely when questions arose. Only minutes passed before a call or email was returned with answers to my inquiries."

"Empa is an exceptional business! I had cracked stucco on the front my 4500 sq.ft. house. This let water get behind the stucco and caused rot in some of the plywood and wall studs. Quite a serious and destructive problem. Jehu (the company principal) was able to localize the problem areas and his crew replaced the affected plywood and studs. His crew then applied new stucco and color finishes, so the house looked brand new. In my experience Jehu is a man of his word, and his crew are top level technicians. They work harmoniously as a team and I heartily recommend Empa services to anyone."

"Although I did not hire Greg it was due to the fact that Greg took the time to explain to me that I would be better off using a general contractor for the repairs which would be cheaper. He further explained that the stucco would look a little different from what I had now (which was not stucco). "EXCELLENT!! After interviewing 4 other stucco work companies I decided on Lempa. Elio owner and hands on general contractor was on site at least once a week. He has extensive experience in stucco work. Marcos the lead person on the project was an expert he addressed issues with the work that I as a construction aficionado did not notice. Marcos is a total professional. At times I would observe him just sitting back and looking at the current phase of the project he was working and would come to me and make suggestions that really aligned to what i wanted. In addition he would do repairs to parts of the house that he did not need to do. For example one of the faucets in the backyard that he would use was leaking even though i had a plumber her to replace it well Marcos or one of his guys repair it to our pleasant surprise. Anything i needed or wanted to change or replace Elio and Marcos were ready and willing to accommodate us total professionalism in my view. The house looks beautiful and the work is close to perfection i say this as i am one that believes total perfection does not exist in the human condition. If you want and are looking for a stucco contractor that is dedicated very detail oriented and very accommodating to his customers needs Hire Elio and LEMPA Construction."

"Miguel Amaya is not only an honest, fair and hard working person but he has integrity that is truly rare (and uplifting) in this day and age. I live in Westfield, NJ and had him redo my front walkway. Miguel went out of his way to make sure that I was satisfied with the finished product. He was forced to return because I was sold defective SEK Polysweep product by an unscrupulous vendor. Mr. Amaya redid the work by replacing the SEK product with the much better Gator Maxx polymeric sand. if you need hardscaping work done, hire Miguel Amaya, a decent, hard working, honest professional. STAY AWAY from Empire Building Supplies (see my review on them) and SEK Polysweep -- the product is garbage and the people who make/sell it know nothing about being good people who TRUTHFULLY care about fairness and/or their customer. Mr. Amaya would not accept my paying him a second time although he was forced do the job twice through no fault of his own. It was so unjust ** and yet so telling of the type of decent human being that Miguel Amaya is. Unlike the others I dealt with (at Empire and SEK), he was more interested in doing the right thing by me than he was about money. How rare. I was lucky to find such a good person and worker. I highly recommend him."
