"Chuck installed three security doors, painted an interior room and fixed several other items. He works fast, does clean work, always shows up on time, and makes sure everything is complete. And he is so knowledgeable in his trade and very hard working! I am so happy that have already booked Chuck for bigger projects for next summer!"

"Billy responded to my request for a quote the same day I entered my information in Angi. He came the next day, gave me a reasonable quote and told me what all work his crew would do. I immediately hired him. Although he gave me a date they could do the work, he later called and said they could do it much sooner, if that was OK with us. I cannot say enough good about Billy and his entire crew. They are professional, efficient, friendly, clean up after themselves and are very courteous. They even covered my son's classic truck, which was near the path to get the cement from the truck to our back yard, so nothing would damage it. Any concrete work I will ever need, will be done by Ability Concrete; and I whole heartedly recommend them to anyone who wants a perfect job at a very reasonable price. They are winners!!!"

"Over all very well.  I originally wanted my kitchen gutted, but was advised if i wasn't going to re-configure the lay out, it wouldn't be worth the extra money, so we went with stripping. I was very nervous about the mess and how it would turn out. It was messy but Blake took extra care by hanging plastic from ceiling to floor around my kitchen and stripes of what I call butcher paper on the floor. I wanted more storage in my kitchen, and asked if he could build me a permanent free standing island with storage in my nook in place of my kitchen table. He hit the nail on the head, he added matching granite. Now I have extra storage and seating for four Blake also extended the granite on one end of my counter allowing for two barstools in slide under, making for more sitting. My Grand kids love it because the can watch TV from there. <br /> He took out the old florescent lighting. Drywalled the opening and hung 6 hanging lights. Do to the tedious job of stripping, it took a little longer than expected, but we totally understood and my cabinets came out beautiful. Love my new kitchen.   <br /> Blake also put in our wood floors after a water leak. Happy with that job as well. <br /> <br />"

"Originally every thing started on time.  They had just finished prepping the ground to drop the pool in.  - and then came the monsoon!  Needless to say a wash came through and then flooded the hole.  The workers were wonderful and found where the water was coming from and took a front loader and was able to divert the water.  After the hole dried out the owner of Aquatic Pools came out so we could discuss what could be done so that my pool would not be flooded again should we have such a bad monsoon.  They recommended heightening my pool by two feet and putting rip rap around it.  The workers came back after the Monsoon and redid what had been previously been prepared and made it two feet higher.  The decking has cooldeck on it.  Well, it came out beautiful and I couldn't be happier.  The workers were wonderful, they were friendly and always working.  They had the best attitude.  Aquatic Pools made me feel like I was number 1 right from the beginning.. <br />"

FAQs for concrete patios, walks & steps installation projects in Oatman, AZ

Most sidewalks rely on a ready‑mix blend of Portland cement, sand, gravel, and water that trucks deliver to your site and pour in one continuous lift. For added strength, many contractors fold in fiber mesh or steel reinforcement. This mix cures into a rock‑solid slab that stands up to foot traffic, freeze‑thaw cycles, and daily wear for decades. Expect a pro to recommend a 4‑inch‑thick pour for standard walkways.

With the right mix, proper drainage, and routine upkeep, a concrete sidewalk can last 25 to 50 years. Freeze‑thaw cycles, road salt, and heavy loads all shorten that timeline, but sealing every few years and patching small cracks early keeps damage in check. Think of sealing as inexpensive insurance for decades of safe, stable footing. In milder climates, some slabs push well past the 30‑year mark without major repairs.

Concrete sidewalks crack as a result of significant temperature fluctuations and heavy load pressures. The freeze-thaw cycles and sustained weight from vehicles or intense foot traffic force the concrete to develop cracks over time. Applying a premium sealant every two to three years and substituting salt with sand for de-icing minimizes crack formation. Regular maintenance and timely repairs safeguard the sidewalk’s structural integrity and extend its service life.
