"Sod and flowerbed work was good. As a contractor myself, I give more than the benefit of the doubt to anyone I do business with. I had Lawn Boys add some pavers/walkway work to our existing layout sine it was part of their scope of work. This part of the work was so far below standard: incredibly unleveled, partly unfinished, I could go on. The owner did take the time to discuss the issue but in the end resolved that this was as good as he could do. I would have paid much more from the beginning to have it done right, rather than been offered a deal. Again the sod and flower bed still looks great and workers were very nice, I would suggest sticking to this scope of work from this contractor."

I'm just looking for money

"Started in early August and was completed in two weeks. Since the yard is sliced up to put in all of the pipes, the resulting mess was handled very well. There were no depressions left where the pipes were buried. Excess dirt was hauled away. Dan also installed three outlets on the house for use outside. Note: one of the reasons for a sprinkler system was to have separate water metering. Our sewer charges are based on water useage and are quite high. It will take twenty years to recover the cost, but now I have the convience of a sprinkler system and no longer have the manual watering hassle (of a corner lot). Now I can wash the car, water flowers, fill a pool without the sewer charges.
Nine months later lightening blew out the controller, Dan came back twice with a replacement and reinstalled it at no charge. He also checked the alignment on all the sprinkler heads for proper coverage.
A neighbor put in a sprinkler system  a month before mine and I had his company quote my lot. The price was about $3,000 more than my cost. I am well satisfied with the cost and the service I received.
