As a whole, the company was responsive, communicated well, and most importantly, showed up when they said they would. The crew was very helpful in explaining what they were doing, made minor changes at my request and were very courteous to our family. It was clear during the pour that the D&R crewmemberts were looking out for us to make sure that everything was done properly - special thanks to Mr. Buggs. The D&R team also worked well with city inspectors and had no issues passing inspection. I highly recommend D&R Concrete of Florida LLC and would definitely use them again."

"Four years ago he did my driveway.  He did my patio this time.  I had Mr. Strickland do some concrete work when we got the house and then I had him come back and do the patio. I referred him to other people and he has done work for them too. There were some problems, but they were not his, they were the company that got the concrete. The weather was a little difficult to work with last year, it has been this year too. He knows his stuff. The concrete company that he uses, I wouldn't give them an A. They didn't mix the concrete right, but that's not Tom's problem, it was the concrete companies problem.  We had a problem with the cement, but the company fixed it.  He preformed like he said he was going to do.  I have referred him and the people that used him, liked him too."

"The job went well. Martin Fox and his crew were thorough. Once they removed the two sections of concrete, they made sure that there were no more roots to push up the remaining sections and also made sure the edges of the drive were filled back in with dirt when they had finished pouring the concrete. They left no mess at all. I liked the fact that they emailed me pictures of the work afterwards - before, during and after pictures. I don't know much about concrete, but even I can tell the grade of concrete they used was better than what had been there before. I will call them again if I have a concrete service need. <br />"

"Fantastic job. Kyle has done other remodeling and repair jobs for us over the years. Several years ago, probably around 7-8 years ago, I called Kyle about replacing our 20 year old (maybe older?) roof. At that time, he said that the roof still had another 5 years or so of good out of it. When we developed a leak after our last big storm, he came and made a quick patch (for free) and gave us an estimate on a total replacement. He replaced our roof and everything was done very professionally and it turned out great. He even repaired a problem on our rafters at no additional cost (something that couldn't be seen at the time of the estimate for replacing the roof). Everything was cleaned up very nicely. We went with a metal roof instead of shingles and we love it. (He was even nice enough to have his workers dig out an old basketball goal that was by the driveway)"

"May Day did an outstanding job from the initial quote to completion of the work. The grass in our front and backyard was struggling, with many patchy areas. Clay and roots were also an issue. Marc reviewed our yard, and then provided us with what we felt was a fair proposal. As requested, he had broken down each element of the proposed work so that we could pick and chose to fit our budget. He also suggested additional items such as underground drainage hose from our rain gutters to a wooded area behind our house for improved drainage. He provided a list of suggested plants for our flower beds, designed for climate and the look of the house/yard. The work proceeded well with the crew. They brought in fill dirt and topsoil, and graded it nicely. This included breaking up some of the areas of clay in the front yard, and making a nice blend with topsoil. in the back yard, he had suggested a gentle slope away from our back patio, which was elevated somewhat from the rest of the backyard. This was done well and looks great. They laid approximately 10,000 SQ FT of sod between the front and back yards. They also prepped the flower beds by removing the roots from the previous shrubs, and installed a variety of plants in a pleasing design. They cut-in the edges of the sod to fit sidewalks and driveways, and around trees. The job looks very professionally done. This work took 7 or 8 business days. The crew cleaned up sidewalks and the driveway at the end of each day. The workers were courteous and respectful of our property. There are a couple of minor issues which Marc has promised to address. We would certainly use May Day again for landscaping needs. We have recommended them to acquaintances."

"I purchased a 55" plasma television that weighed 71 pounds and I wanted it mounted over my fireplace.  My fireplace has 3/4" cherry wood on top of concrete block so I needed someone knowledgeable with hanging something in both wood and concrete.  Jeff came out with a helper and they installed my TV mount using bolts that were not included with the mount since they felt they needed more substantial bolts for the installation.  The mount went up fairly easily but they had a little difficulty hanging the television, partly because they had very little room to work in since the television filled up almost the entire space between the side columns.  But when they got it in it was there to stay.  I feel very confident that the television is very secure and so is the mount.  They cleaned up and all that was left was for me to clean off fingerprints on the edges of the screen.  I had a special cleaner for that job so I did that.  I am very pleased."

"Nice guy - generally works out of his truck. Didn't do exactly what I asked and unfortunately, I was out of town when he placed the concrete. Have an unwanted slope in the front and a low spot in the back that pools water when it rains. His general work is Ok in terms of finishing, etc., but I think he was in a rush and didn't do the best job. I'd probably use him again as long as I was able to be present and supervise the job."
