"We chose Durabond (concrete) vs. asphalt. Durabond had the lowest bid, slightly over the price of asphalt, for our huge remodel project. Little did we know that we were going to get the owner (Dan) on site for the entire 4-day project, and his crew who worked so hard for 9-10 hour days in the 88 degree heat. They were amazing! Not only that, but our expectation was plain ol' concrete and they did an upgrade of shadowboxing and cross-brooming on each and every section with a fancy border on the front sidewalk. Everything was carefully calculated and laid out and turned out fantastic and beautiful! Also included in the price was burying our downspouts. They picked up the materials we paid for at Reinders and installed everything for a custom job and terrific drainage. It gets better: This small, family-owned company wants to maintain its high standards by treating employees as family members who work very well together. One employee (Dennis) loves his job so much after 22 years, he looks forward to coming to work and working with the crew. We were delighted at times looking out the window to see them laughing and joking with each other while working and getting along famously. The owner's son, Brody, is also a hard-working kid, working with the crew. And it gets even better: Joel, Brody and Dennis work on the weekends doing landscaping work and they are spreading our 40 yards of topsoil throughout our yard in perfectionist style. They charge reasonably and work very hard with excellent results, communicating with the client every step of the way. I cannot recommend them strongly enough! Fantastic experience!"
