"This was a problem job that few wanted to tackle. Josh made a total of three visits to our house to get it done. The first was to look at the project, the second was a failed effort with the first round of LED lights and the third was a good, neat installation that worked well. The parts were over 200 in cost and he charged me a very fair labor price. The work was frustrating for both of us, but he was profession and positive thoughout the project and easy to work with. He also kept me well informed. Will definitely use him in the future and reccomend him to others. <br />"

"Everything about this project was great: getting an estimate, scheduling the installation, the installer, and the product. We should have added a Solatube to our dark hallway a long time ago. This was an excellent investment, and worth every penny."

"We're very happy with the work. Chris came out quickly and provided a detailed estimate within a week or two. The price was in the middle of other estimates we received, but they stuck to it except for a few extra projects we voluntarily added on once work started, which he priced out for us in advance so we knew how much we would be adding. Chris was on the job every day with his various crew members, and he was happy to discuss progress as it went. They worked long hours and finished earlier than their original timeline, which was a nice bonus. Most importantly, we're happy with the work itself, and everyone who sees it comments on how great the new basement looks. We would definitely use them again for other remodeling projects."

FAQs for handyman service projects in Oconto, WI

Winterizing shields your home’s structure and key systems from snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. By sealing drafts and tuning up heaters, you cut energy waste, extend the life of appliances and windows, and avoid surprise repair bills. A small up-front investment keeps rooms cozy and protects the value of your biggest asset all winter long.

Yes, it’s important to prepare your sprinkler system for the winter. Blowing out the lines and insulating above-ground parts keeps valves and pipes from splitting when temperatures drop. A quick winterization visit costs far less than repairing burst components in spring, and it ensures your lawn--and your wallet--stay in good shape once the thaw hits.

A full home winterization plan goes beyond sealing windows and pipes. You might schedule a home energy audit, cover outdoor furniture, service the snowblower, swap smoke-detector batteries, add outlet gaskets, and hang storm doors. Each step beefs up your home’s protection, cuts drafts, and lowers the chance of costly cold-weather damage.
