"My basement flooring project went awry when a subcontractor from Lowe's came to give an estimate on vinyl plank flooring, but did not account for the 2" height difference in the corner. This would have required the basement floor to be leveled, which I was informed would cost nearly double the amount that was paid for the floor parts and installation. We decided to go with the Polycrete flooring he suggested, and are very happy with the results. Extremely durable, resistant to chemical stains, efflorescence and moisture - couldn't have asked for a better solution. I had an excellent experience working with him and his team. I had to break the job into two time frames and he was more than accommodating. He was very responsive, answered all of my questions, and professional. Given the two-part process, the job was completed in a very reasonable time frame and was fairly priced, based on other quotes I received. "Went well up front. Careful of there ten year guarantee. Had them come so we could finish our bathroom in our basement. We Finished our basement after they finished their work. Five years later the leak reappeared in the exact spot it was when we first contacted them. When we called to tell them about the leak, they told us we have to rip apart our 8K bathroom to prove them it was their work. The leak was in the same spot when they originally came out. Because of this I would not recommend them. The rip out and the replacement is on our dime. I think the guarantee is very Limited."
