"In August 2025 we hired Anthony Pruchniak to pour a concrete pad for a workshop and to refinish the front porch. The workshop was months away due to the permitting process, but he wanted to go ahead and do the porch refinishing since he was available that week. Then it was delayed until the weekend. And here's where the saga begins. He showed up with his 3 young daughters in tow. Then it started raining before he could finish resurfacing the porch. He showed up after noon the next day and finished while we were away and sent pictures. I questioned the texture and he assured me that it was because of the picture was zoomed in. On to Wednesday (3 days later) after the porch was dry...it was so rough that I couldn't walk on it and the color had swirls in it. Then the struggle of getting that corrected. "C 1 Foundations issued a bid for my concrete drive. Asked for a down deposit of $1,000.00 which I wrote a check for. I had informed Israel Castillo who did the estimate that a permit was required to do project. That was early Jan 2026. I asked when the project would begun. He stated early Feb 2026. Mid Feburary since I had not heard from him I called him again asking when the project would start. Israel stated he was still waiting for permit but he would go to Lake county Permit office to get it. My intuition there was something wrong. I called the permit office and was told there had not been any permit application from C 1 Foundations for my project. The permit office informed me to contact the Lake County Florida buildings dept. The buildings office that there is no licensed contractor C1 Foundations and could not order a permit. I filed a complaint on C 1 Foundations as they has cashed my check and never heard back from them though they are still advertising their company."
