"I had a broken sliding patio door that I was struggling with trying to open & close! I am 62 yrs old, disabled & recently my position w/the Company I worked for after 11 years, eliminated the Department I worked in. I kept putting off this repair due to finances. Also, afraid that the door may be in such bad shape I would need a new one, which I really couldn't afford! Otto's Carpentry to the rescue! The door got so bad that I really could hardly open/close it so I needed to get it fixed! I went on Angie's & Chad immediately called me. I didn't even have to wait, he was here bright & early next day! If it was an emergency, he would even have come out that night,(and it was later p.m. already), if he had to! Being an older door, he set the expectation that it may not even be able to be fixed! Well, he worked his "magic" & the door is good as new! He even put a new handle on as the old was 1/2 broke right off & missing the lock! He made it so the blinds on the inside of the glass worked again AND he fixed a piece of the wood trim that was falling off(without me even asking)! I hadn't asked him to do that as I knew that would raise the price & I didn't have any extra $'s. Let me tell you...he is fair & affordable! He is a "old school" hard worker, works long hours & even weekends! He is knowledgeable & will do the job right...no short cuts here! I think he knows how to do just about anything & he will let you know if the repair is worth it, good or bad & the issues that could possibly arise! He is honest, real, down to earth & no BS! You can't find a harder, more dedicated or experienced worker! A+++ rating for Chad, I would trust him w/ any job I need done AND would highly recommend him to anyone! "Was extremely satisfied with this service. Rick was very knowledgeable and professional. His crew, Sean and Nick, were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure the job got done correctly. I mostly worked with Sean on multiple projects including, replacing kitchen sink, replacing bath faucet, various plumbing issues that existed in 50 year old house that had not been maintained, dry wall repair, interior painting, wall paper removal, cabinet removal and anything else that came up in relation to this work. "We hired Brian to waterproof our basement last year but this year, we received a heavy rainstorm that created massive flooding around the area. Everything Brian waterproofed was bone dry but there was an exit door entry way that we never even considered waterproofing. The door held back most of the water but it managed to get in through the cracks of the door. 

I contacted multiple companies that night and the next morning, but Brian was the only one who responded back first thing in the morning. He agreed to meet us at our house to assess the problem, and we appreciated that he arrived quickly. After evaluating multiple options, Brian told us that we needed a sump pump and drain tile installed to permanently fix this problem. He initially scheduled us for the next Monday, but after understanding our urgency, he bumped us up to the next day. The workers arrived when he said they would, and the work was completed the same day in the afternoon. Thank you to Brian and his company for being so accommodating, being there when we needed him, and completing the work promptly.

After some heavy rains, we noticed that we were still getting some seepage in our "waterproofed" basement. After contacting Brian (for our lifetime warranty or whatever), he said he would come out. He then proceeded to cancel/make an excuse the next 3-4 appointments. Then he just stopped responding to emails/calls. We're very disappointed because we really liked Brian. Now we have to open the walls to see where the seepage is coming in and call someone else to seal them."

"The project went well. Chris and his Son were polite and did a good job. Under the cold conditions they were able to provide a high quality product. The work they did in my garage looks amazing. They were also able to touch up my existing drywall and re-texture and paint to make the whole garage seamless. There were a few minor cracks to the seams that showed up. Chris is going to wait until the weather warms up to come back and take care of them. I'm confident this will be resolved and he was more than willing to address and take care of it. I'll post an update once the work is done. I also had them paint some exposed wood around my garage door. They did a very nice job and I'm thrilled with the work."

"At the end of the inspection I was positive that I was not going to use him. He gave me like a huge laundry list of things that needed to be done. After he was finished he said that it would cost me $15000. There was no way all of this going be $15000. It was like these little things he tarried about because he wanted to get paid as the coupons were so cheap. He had no suggestions about minimum cost. The thing about him was he did not give us any options, everything he gave was for us to do things. There are always levels of priority and I did not get anything at all from him."

"Great! They spent 2 days repairing a poor roofing job that lead to our leaking and a several nests of wasps invading house. They also did a great job cleaning our gutters this spring.

They will be returning next spring for another issue we need addressed.

"Things started very slowly for us, because of constant rain in the beginning and then one or two of the guys were out sick or injured (not work related). But, once things got under way, everything went really well. First of all, our house is three stories tall and the garage is not attached, also the homes in this neighborhood are quite close to each other, so there wasn't a lot of space on the sides of the house for working. The stucco work made it so that you couldn't even see where the patching and repairs were. And, the painting is just beautiful. We needed some gutters replaced and they even cleaned out gutters which were not part of the job or contract. While the work was being done, there was stuff all over the yard, but at the end of each day it was all cleaned up and piled nicely. Bruce and his guys were very courteous and friendly. Whenever we brought up anything that we felt needed doing, they always took care of it. They never gave us some reason why it couldn't be done. As the work went along we discovered that a ceiling had fallen down in a sleeping porch that we just used for storage. It turned out that water was coming in from poor roofing that had been done years before. After first trying to calk it and finding out that didn't work, we had Bruce repair that section of the roof. So that was a completely separate job and the room is now dry and being brought back into working order. We were so happy with the exterior painting that we have now gone ahead to have some interior rooms redone (the walls torn out and replaced and painted.) The one bedroom that has been done is so beautiful that everyone now wants that to be their room. We went beyond what we had planned to do, so we are having to come to an end here, but we will definitely be getting Bruce back to do further work in the future."
