"I was only looking for a minor repair. Vin inspected roof area of leak over kitchen ceiling. He found that several nails had been placed too close to shingle joints. He sealed those problem shingles with roof cement. Other roofing companies were not interested in coming to look at a job which was not replacing my roof. "They upsold me on gutters and windows. One section of the gutter is not right. They have a hole just going from one section of the roof right onto the shingles and it backs up with leaves. The roof is great. The windows are already falling apart and I really wish they were installed better. Pretty janky install. Just cut out the ole windows and put new ones. While covering the wood trim with vinyl trim. Didn’t matter that the wood is rotten underneath. Yeah well. I won’t be in this house forever."

Fabian repaired all the rotted trim and the split and poor condition clapboards on my old house. I could not have been more pleased. He scraped off the moss from my roof and caulked areas. The construction crew showed up early in the morning and worked efficiently and skillfully for several hours removing the old roof and installing the new roof. They were finished by 3 and were meticulous with clean up. The roof is a 50 year roof and moss and lichen will not grow on it. I will no longer need to go on the roof to treat for moss and lichenâ ¦.and the price was reasonable. I would highly recommend A1 Home Improvement. They have integrity, work hard and are very conscientious about doing a good jobâ ¦no short cuts. I even had a follow up call the next day to check on my satisfaction with the work. The installation crew, Ivan and Vito, were clean, professional and installed my six windows in a half day (replacing original windows from 1937 when the house was built). They were very careful of my outdoor plants and interior belongings. They thoroughly cleaned up and replaced the blinds hardware they had to remove to do the job. You'd be hard pressed to know they were even there. They were professional and true craftsmen.
