"Great company! I needed to replace my regular door and security door. Valentino (the owner) had come by for a free assessment and estimate. He provided a fair assessment without being pushy which I greatly appreciated. The doors were custom made according to the specifications I had chosen. The crew that came by to do the installation were friendly, professional and were respectful of my property. As part of the installation of the doors, they also had to do new jambs and the bottom (I previously had a half step). The end result is absolutely beautiful and I am so happy with my new doors. They are well sealed when closed and I no longer have a draft. I highly recommend Custom Windows & Doors!!"

"Brian and his team do great work. More importantly, they stand by their work and your system. Brian's team installed our camera system a couple of years ago, and he gave us a feeling of more safety and security. The cameras then can be seen through an online app (on your phone or through a special web address), but occasionally there's a glitch, as with most online things. Now, other companies might forget you or want more money after they've done the installation. But not Brian. The glitches are only every now and then, but when they happen, I reach out to him and he gets right on it. He stands by his systems and he troubleshoots it, and you're back up and running. He knows his stuff, and he's dedicated to making sure everything is working right! Thanks, Brian! It's good to know you're there to keep things working!"

"We were extremely happy with the work performed by H&M. Moises, Hector and crew were courteous and did whatever needed to please us. They did most of the renovation in our condo......painting, installation of bathroom cabinets, sink, installed tile floor, etc. They also installed vinyl flooring in our kitchen, living and dining rooms. They had a plumber replace our heating baseboard, I would highly recommend H&M if you want excellent work done!!"

"The front and rear landscaping from the previous owner was a mess. Purchased the house last year and didn't bother with it because it was so bad. Just mowed the weeds. Adelmo provided a quote but thought the grass could be saved so we went that route. It'll take awhile before we see positive results, but the yards look great so far."

"Job went well. The guy's arrived early and stayed late. They finished installing the fence in one day, including two gates. Paid extra to have brush/bushes removed from the property line before the install. Had the property line surveyed and staked out before Amendolas got here. They did well with following the property line on two out of the three sides. On the third side I feel that the fence could have been installed closer to the property line!! It's been about 6 months, so far so good. We've gone through a couple storms and a blizzard and haven't had any issues with the fence. Haven't had to deal with customer service yet. <br />"

"Karim is fantastic. Hardworking, smart, determined, kind and above all trustworthy. He was recommended to us by a new neighbor across the street during the purchase of our townhouse in Cypress Hills. Karim was prompt with estimates and his prices were very competitive. The quality of work was top notch throughout our rather extensive home renovations. Karim and his team gave us a new roof, refinished all our floors, and did and entire re-imagining of our parlor floor. This included removing interior walls for a completely open floor plan, an entirely new kitchen and powder room, and countless other details. My wife and I lived on the second floor while The downstairs was being renovated. Throughout this process we had the good fortune to get to know Karim and his crew quite well for several months. All of Karim’s subcontractors who were involved in the project also proved to be top notch and reliable. Because of this, I now feel as though I have a reliable electrician and plumber for anything that may come up in the future. And that in and of itself is a huge advantage in NYC. With all the horror stories you hear about shady contractors, we feel very fortunate to have met Karim and plan to work with him on future renovation projects. A++"

"I felt a little misled by the salesperson, who initially said the company likes to keep projects no more than 2-3 weeks out. I was impressed! Fence companies are known to take a while to install fences. When I eventually signed the contract and placed the deposit, the salesperson said they were 4-5 weeks out. OK—that sounds more like it, I thought. About a week later the Victorian Fence office called to schedule the installation for 6 weeks in the future. That was a little disappointing but still seemed within a normal range for fence companies. After waiting those 6 weeks, Victorian called late the day before the scheduled installation to say they couldn’t do it because they didn’t get the wood in. That was disappointing! They said they’d call the next day with an update, but after waiting several days, I had to call. The woman on the phone offered one explanation, that customers were complaining about their new wood fences being “wet” (which I think means waterlogged?), and then the owner called back and said there was just a shortage—the shipments weren’t coming in from the supplier. He was very nice and explained the situation as best he could. He seemed very above board. He also said they would call with an update. A week later after no updates, I called him, and the fence was installed the next day without any problems. What’s also weird is that twice I asked about having additional fencing installed, because our neighbors wanted 10 feet and a gate to match ours. I left a message with the salesperson and talked to the owner about it, but nothing happened. I understand if an existing order can’t be changed, or if there’s not enough product to install extra, but we were trying to spend more money! At least follow up on a request we made twice. We are happy with our new cedar fence, but I can’t say I’d recommend others use this company."
