"The overall job was not satisfactory. The employe was great and polite. The carpet took longer to dry than want he told me it would. Spots came up that were not there before and there were dirty streaks on my main areas by the edge of the carpet and tile. It looked like dirt and grime."

"First of all let me preface by saying that I purchased this home on foreclosure and it had been neglected for several years, including the gutters which is what caused the leak in the foundation wall.  Because the problem was allowed to continue for so long it had spread to all of the drywall in the basement.  A-1 came in and removed the bottom two feet of drywall, vapor barrier, and insulation from all the exterior walls of my basement they also removed a few rotted spots of the framing and painted a couple small patches with a mold and mildew resistant paint.   The whole process took approximately a week and the did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves.  After the crew left we noticed a couple patches of the block that still had mold stains on them, when I contacted them about this they came out again and painted the block in those spots.  Maybe I am naive about this, but I think that it would have been prudent to paint all of the exposed studs and blocks to hopefully prevent any future issues.  The workers that came to my house were barely out of high school, but they were professional although I don't know how experienced they were. Overall it was an unexpected expense so I am not happy about it, but they did an ok job.  I still think they were a little overpriced, but I didn't have time to get multiple quotes.

"After 3 years following a complete roof replacement on 3 structures, I developed leaks on the corners in 6 locations, seemingly a product failure. Total provided Saturday service and ordered the correct color and re-scheduled for install. Their work came with a 5 year warranty, which was easy and no hassle getting done. Their staff remains professional and office staff tries hard to keep us informed through the repair. We have previously met and worked with the owner of Total, Kevin Jackson, truly a man of integrity, hard to find in roofers. It is my pleasure to recommend this company and I have.

"They scheduled the appointment the next day after I purchased from Angie's List. They arrived on time on the day scheduled. We had had other water damage in our home, and I asked for him to check for mold/mildew. He looked at my basement ceiling and kitchen floor--where the water damage was and said since it was so recent (approx 3 weeks) there was probably no mold/mildew buildup. He did test the moisture content in the kitchen floor.
I requested the name of someone he would recommend to do the ceiling repair and re-texturing. He told me he'd let me know as soon as he got back to the office. It's been seven weeks....must be a long trip to the office. I've never heard back from the
gentleman.
For this reason alone, I will not consider them in the future.
Did I get what I paid for? I don't know. I don't know how to check for mold/mildew myself--that was why I purchased the service.
Do I felt it was money well-spent? No. He was more worried about the job another company was doing replacing my floor, than actually what I had paid for him to do.
Satisfaction? nope.

"Reuter construction was great to work with from start to finish. Brian had to coordinate roof replacement with mold removal company, so they could clean the rafters. Brian worked against many obstacles, including rain, and our real estate agent. Project was completed in a very timely manner, Brian and crew cleaned up everyday, keeping job site in very good condition. Reuter construction gets a A+ in my book. If references are ever needed I would be happy to oblidge. I have already referred Reuter Construction to a co worker and Brian is giving her an estimate on a new roof.
