The owner Don is very talented & kept us informed when there was a problem with damaged material from the supplier, which caused a delay. His crew was also great & did a great job on install & clean up. A couple of the guys also installed a wood ceiling inside the cabin & we are very happy with the results."

"Before replacing the tub, he had to build up the walls so he could attach the new tub and walls of tub. He and his co worker both worked very hard and steady. Nice to talk to. Informative. Quality work. Both men. I liked the fact that Chad was going to stick to his first quote with us, even though neither of us knew about the need to build up the existing walls before his quote. He not only tore out existing tub, he took all waste materials with him. He is a patient man and works without complaint. Twice I had to go and exchange wrong parts I had bought, and he just kept working on other things until I returned. A few days later I heard from him with a follow up call. He wanted to know if there were any problems. There weren't any. He offers integrity and quality work. Rand R impressed us in all these aspects. <br /> <br /> Our home is a drafty Michigan farmhouse and in order to increase energy efficiency, we decided to insulate the crawlspace. Rand R is business local to us--and we prefer to use local businesses whenever possible. Customer service was prompt and professional and we are happy with the job they performed. <br /> <br /> What especially impressed us is this: our crawlspace is very narrow--one literally has to crawl on one's belly to move around in it and there are a variety of pipes that run through it. Following the installation of the insulation, we discovered that pipes had come apart at the joints in two places and we needed to call a plumber to repair them. I do not believe this was the result of negligence at all. <br /> <br /> When I reported this to Rand R, they did not argue. They promptly covered the cost of the plumbing repair. They stood behind their work and I commend them for this. "Our builder uses ProBuild for his material.  We live 3 hours away from the area and <br /> stopped by to select our exterior door. <br /> Even though we had our windows, shingles and siding selected with our <br /> builder, Jim Wagner from this ProBuild took the time to go over everything with us while we were <br /> there. <br /> We discovered a few things that had to be checked on with the various <br /> manufacturers, after we left so we had to go back and forth with Jim by <br /> email.  There were several emails and he was very prompt getting back <br /> with us.  What I <br /> liked best was that he made sure we were all on the <br /> same page before he ordered the material.  From past experience, this is <br /> very important. <br /> The framing was also ordered and our builder <br /> uses Jeld-Wen for windows and doors.  We will have to see their framing <br /> material so will have to see that quality.  We have never used Jeld-Wen <br /> so we will have to get back on the quality and cost comparison. <br />"
