"They were very thorough in a tree trimming project I hired them for originally. I then tried discussed with them that I was looking for a lawn maintenance service. I would be mowing myself but wanted someone to provide the maintenance, ferilization, soil conditioning and other basic services for the year. Their price was fair and the day I signed the contract, they showed up to take a soil sample and provide the first treatment. They have been nothing but polite on the phone and very responsive with email replies and updates when they complete any portion of the project. I recommend using them."

"My wife and I recently moved into a new home, and the yard needed quite a bit of tree work done. Luckily Northeastern Tree Care was recommended, and we had the pleasure of working with Nick, Vinny and their team. They were *very* professional, courteous and efficient, and they were thorough from the initial consultation all the way through to their trememdous day of tree work. They got to work right on time, were armed with some pretty substantial equipment, and were careful at removing and trimming our trees without damange to our yard. Their stump grinding was excellent, and the areas were left clean and tidy. We were very impressed with the quality of their work, and we appreciated their expertise and dedication to doing the job right. These guys are great people, and we highly recommend Northeastern to anyone who has big work to be done on their trees."

"I signed a contract with TurfMasters and they have been bought out by Tru Green. I now have weeds in the lawn and it is not the same service and product that I received in the past. I am really dismayed that this went on in the middle of the season. I like to be here when I get my lawn treated. I like speaking with someone at the actual company instead of talking to a call center rep. I like continuity! I definitely will not use them again in the future."

"Marcos and his crew redid my back patio by pitching it away from the house so water would drain . He also added on to the patio using both my pavers and additional ones . He used Belgian blocks as an edge. Most importantly, he fit pieces perfectly around areas which could not use a whole paver. Magnificent job all around."

"

Celtic is a company with large equipment though it can tailor that equipment to the size of the job -  the cranes that lift the crew to the trees are sophisticated and can really cut a tree down in segments fairly quickly and then grind the debris into chips.   Some of the tress were dying and had to be handled carefully so that they wouldn't potentially hit a part of the house and or its shrubs.  Each time Celtic did the job, it was executed  very well.   Several times I had its huge "stump grinder" do away with a big stump left on the lawn so that we could replant the turf where the tree had been.

The Celtic Tree Service's crew is professional and knowledgeable. There is no job too big for them or too potentially too difficult for tCeltic.  Excellent experiences.

FAQs for trees & shrubs treat, protect and maintain projects in Orange, CT

A tree doctor or tree surgeon is another term for an arborist. The term is more common in places like the United Kingdom. They are professionals trained to plant, care for, maintain, diagnose, and remove trees of all kinds. Tree doctors have specialized knowledge to ensure the health and safety of trees.

Arborists are tree care specialists who plan, maintain, and enhance the health of trees with expert precision. They prune, diagnose diseases, treat pest infestations, remove hazardous limbs, and manage debris cleanup while developing comprehensive landscaping plans. They also handle tree planting and work with landscape professionals to ensure long-term tree vitality and safety.

Consulting arborists are tree experts who can advise homeowners and business owners on the right trees to plant, how to care for existing trees, and what to do about trees that appear to be sick or pose a safety threat. A consulting arborist may work with local landscape architects, investment property owners, city governments, developers, and other arborists.

An arborist may be able to save a dying tree. If you notice that your tree suddenly appears to be sick or is exhibiting unusual behavior, contact an arborist immediately. They will thoroughly inspect the tree to determine what might be wrong with it—and will let you know if it’s possible to save the tree and how to do it.

Verifying an arborist’s credentials is crucial for reliable tree care. Arborists must be licensed by their state and hold certifications from reputable organizations such as the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). Request proof of licensing and certification, and review local recommendations to ensure you are hiring a professional who meets high industry standards and adheres to strict safety protocols.
