"It went perfectly. Tom was wonderful and so professional. His crew was outstanding! They worked so hard and are also professional as well. The work was completed in about a week. Tom was out at our house almost every morning letting us know what was going to be done that day and giving his crew guidance for the day. Tom was a perfectionist, in fact he noticed that our fence was a bit off height wise so he had his team adjust it at no cost to us. Tom has also checked in since the work had been completed to make sure everything looks good and performing as designed. Overall I recommend Tom for any of your landscaping needs. He is honest, dedicated, and best of all passionate about his work. Thanks Tom again for making our home look so much better."

"The crew showed up 5 mins. early - they cut down several large tree limbs over my house - street and driveway. They also <br /> removed two large lilac bushes in backlot. They chipped all brush and limbs from the trees and bushes - they cleaned up <br /> after and left no mess. These men were true professionals and were very polite - they also kept my wife entertained and she <br /> loved them. I would use this company again and suggest them to anyone. <br />"

"Mr. D's did some skid-loader work with new gravel on my driveway on this date, and did an excellent job, were very punctual, and for a very reasonable cost. <br /> Mr. D's has plowed the snow out of our long, rural driveway for more than a dozen years, and we have been very satisfied with their dependability, punctuality and professionalism. They always do a very thorough job, and their price is very reasonable compared to their competition. <br /> We have not used their other services, which are very diverse, but have heard great things about everything they do...we assume their high level of professionalism applies to all that they do. <br /> We highly recommend Mr. D's! <br />"

"Was a little concerned when project started as my yard was a major mess. My worries were all gone once project was finished as they did an excellent job on the new retaining wall, patio area, and planting, plus restoring my yard. I'm looking forward to seeing all the plants blooming and enjoying my updated backyard."

"With each job that Robert and his crew have done for us, we found that he was extremely professional, courteous, timely, and if there were issues or problems he always discussed them with us before proceeding. Robert is our go-to-person when we have items that need correction for our old house and we will continue to be that person we depend upon. (Retired in Rockford)."

"I would hire them again. The patio was in a tricky area off the kitchen with a small yard area and no good way to get to it. Amigos tore out and hauled away the old patio with no residual problems. They were able to frame and pour the new patio in the limited workspace with ease. I would use them again and tell folks to use them. We actually looking at having our driveway done next year and we're looking at bringing in Amigos to do the work."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Orangeville, IL

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
