"I got quotes from 4 roofers. Most and least expensive were automatically removed. What set Berg ahead of the other vendor was the no nonsense approach. This is what we offer and theis is the price. No sugar coat or dance. Also, the price and product was a factor too. They came out and stripped the house and garage to the wood. Replaced some of the wood, installed the ridge vent and new shingles in a day. They have a dumpster trailer on wheels, so there was no damage to lawn or driveway. It’s been a few weeks and I think I’ve picked up 4 nails and 1 piece of roofing felt. No complaints with that, compared to what came off. Overall, they said what they did and did what they said. I’ll be calling them for a quote on siding in the future. Very happy overall."

"A&D replaced our parent's aged roof. Darek came a good distance to provide a free estimate. He explained thoroughly the work that his company would complete, as well as why it needed to be done. He offered material options and encouraged us to seek additional estimates for comparison purposes. A&D was extremely responsive with followup communication. When reaching out with questions, their response time to our inquiries was extremely fast. A&D followed through on all of their promises. A large work crew showed up on time and completed a complete tear off, down to the rafters, installed sheathing, ice & water shield (72 in.), all underlayments and shingles. They were done with the job, in it's entirety, by 5:00 p.m. Darek and Maciej spent several hours at our house, overseeing and working alongside the crew. They met all terms of the agreement and went above and beyond - sealing gutter end caps that were leaking and installing attic baffles, without asking for additional compensation. Afterwards, the crew spent time cleaning up the perimeter of our home, leaving no material wrappings or nails on the ground. Darek visited our parents' home the day after the roofing work, to ask if we had any questions and if we were pleased. He encouraged us to call A&D's office we had any issues with the roof moving forward. A&D Home Improvement is a company with the highest level of integrity. "Matt Skubiz team from Dream Home Exteriors did a phenomenal job. My roof required a double tear off and partial plywood underlayment replacement. His team of very hardworking roofers came and finished everything in one day! Very importantly, a few things really to Matt's credit and all the people that work for him. Phone calls promptly returned, usually within minutes. Start to finish in one day. Took proactive steps to protect the landscape, central air, garage doors, etc... Cleaned up! Did a really good job at cleaning up. Several of my neighbors commented to me as well that they were impressed at how well of a job they did. I also had 1 piece of aluminum fascia that needed replacement which they replaced and matched very well to existing that had been put up about 17 years ago. I sought out bids from multiple roofers, with Matt's being the most competitive, despite 1 of the other bids using exactly the same materials. Matt also has a greater detailed contract, spelling out clearly what's included, so you don't have to guess. Some of the other contracts I reviewed were not very complete, nor as professional looking. He has a very well rounded approach from start to finish and respectful as well. "Simply put, you will NOT find a better, more honest, more helpful, more easy-to-work-with, reasonably priced contractor than John Lee and his crew at J & K Home Improvement & Restoration! We had a "complicated" set of circumstances when our home was damaged by a storm, last winter. The insurance company sent out an estimator to assess the damage and, after the company recommended J & K Home Improvement & Restoration, I was introduced to John Lee. I eventually learned that John also does estimates for a variety of insurance companies (because his company is so well regarded), and he patiently listened as I described the nuances associated with our house. During our initial consultation, he was able to clearly describe all of the steps that would be necessary and answer all of our questions. Long story short, not only was John able to address EVERY single concern and request that we had regarding the eventual repairs to the house (including roof, siding, and a window upgrade that would have cost much more if we had done it at a later time), but he spent plenty of extra time making sure that everything we had talked about was addressed to our 100% satisfaction! He was also able to persuade the insurance company to cover more complete repairs than was originally specified by the first adjuster! In addition, when we had an electrical "hiccup" associated with all the pounding on the walls, John quickly sent an expert electrician to locate and correct the problem. He absolutely could have passed those charges on to us because the failure wasn't due to any mistake on the part of his crew but, instead, he picked up the unanticipated expense himself. It was truly a pleasure to work with John! He made a difficult situation as easy to manage as possible, and we would strongly recommend J & K Home Improvement & Restoration to anyone who wants to hire a quality contractor that stands behind their work and well-earned reputation!"
