"Updated 05-06-2021 I am very pleased to update my review and post a 5 star rating for Plumber of Tucson. My original review was answered within moments of posting and arrangements were made to correct my concerns that same afternoon. This is exemplary customer service. Original Post I had Plumber of Tucson install a new Navien tankless water heater and remove the old water heater. The work done, the equipment and materials supplied all seemed to be excellent. I would like to give this project a 5 Star rating but there are a couple of things that need to be pointed out. First the gas line and one of the ports used for flushing the system are poorly placed. The way the installer made the connections leaves me with the dubious chore of having to disconnect the gas line in order to flush the system. I really don’t like this idea at all and I think it shows lazy work when a 90 would have remedied this problem. Secondly, the water pipes supplying the unit are of good copper material and use a compression type fitting I’m unfamiliar with but believe to be most adequate. The routing for this plumbing leaves a lot to be desired from an esthetics point of view. Instead of following the wall they were just routed at an odd angle across the gap between one wall and another where the unit is mounted. Difficult to explain, I wish I could attach a picture. Again, to me, this speaks of lazy work. In short, if you have Plumber of Tucson do work for you I believe you will be pleased with the quality of materials and the friendliness of the people you will deal with. Just don’t leave them unattended or you may be greeted with some strange installation choices. A 3 star rating is being raised to a 4 based on the willingness of Don Paz to accommodate my scheduling and budget needs for this project. Now, however, I have to decide if I want to battle this out or just hire another outfit to fix the odd choices the installer made."

"Project: Replace two toilets. They responded quickly to my call and were out that day. The technician was friendly and did an excellent job. I would call them again."

"It went very well. It took about 90 minutes and everything was clear and now everything drains well and my dishwasher does not back up into my sinks."

"Service date was August 25, 2020. Appointment was made from one day to the next. Our service person was Aaron Taylor. He did an outstanding job and saved us over $2,500.00, by providing a thorough complimentary camera inspection of our main sewer line from the outside (no mess inside), in order to provide us with an accurate estimate and diagnosis. I had a previous company come in, where they wrongly diagnosed roots in the pipes and that they would have to dig underneath our home from the outside to get to the toilet pipe and replace it. Upon the camera inspection, which Aaron shared with me and after talking to his Manager, Jake, they recommended we do a hydroscrub to clean and clear the clog, which was found through the main sewer line. As soon as that was done, our toilet flushed normal again and there was no issue with roots that they could see. Needless to say, we were relieved and grateful that we got a second opinion and that we found a company with the right equipment and knowledgeable staff, who wanted to do the job right at a fair price. Based on all of the above, I would highly recommend them and will certainly call them again. P.S. They follow all safety protocols."

"Ricardo and another co worker, sorry I didn't get his name, were punctual and texted me when they were on the way. I had my gas line in the kitchen cut down and lowered to accommodate a new gas stove. The original line was 12" tall and slide in ranges do not have an area in the back of the stove to accept a pipe that tall. The stove could not be moved back against the wall. They also fixed my noisy toilet. They were respectful of my home and wore shoe coverings and cleaned up the area when they were done. The price was reasonable and they were able to schedule the job right away. I They are my plumbers for any future plumbing needs and will recommend the company to friends and family."

"When my 20 year old 4 ton  Lennox air-conditioning system finally broke down I contacted 3 companies to provide estimates for a new system.  Since I was seriously considering  replacing the old unit with the same brand, I specifically asked  each of them to bid on the Lennox.  Two of the firms sent someone out who each measured the inside of the house, and spent about 40 minutes working up a proposal.  When they left, both of these firms gave me a printout giving several alternatives depending on the efficiency of the various units, and the price for each. <br />  ACS was the 3rd firm I had contacted and the way they approached the potential job was very different.  Their consultant, Justin Rogers went about measuring all the spaces, as well as reviewing (and photographing) in detail the existing system installation, pipes, wires, ducts, etc.  He then sat down and asked me a series of  questions to determine how, when, and how often the system was used, and what I expected from a new system.  He went into some detail about the features available on the newer systems to determine whether they would be worthwhile for me to consider.  Unlike the other two firms, he said he would return in 48 hours with a proposal, after he had time to review his notes.  He returned with a detailed proposal giving several alternatives and a clear explanation of what the differences were.  The proposal included all of the photographs he had taken 2 days before marked up to indicate work that would be done, which included new pipes (which other firms said were not necessary) and a rebuilding of the cabinet in which the new heater would be installed, and new ducting a new flu, new gas lines and new floor metal.  None of this work was even suggested by the other two bidding firms.  Their price was competitive with the lowest bid I had received, and when I told him that I would be using ACS he immediately offered to have two portable air conditioning units sent over as the house was about 90 degrees. <br /> Two days later the installation team arrived and set up what looked more like a field hospital than a work area.  They were efficient, clean, neat, very polite and performed all of the extra work shown in the photos, including extending the concrete base to allow the new unit to be further from the wall of the house. The job took about 8 hours and when they left the work area was spotless. <br />"

"On time, did the job quickly. Was not expecting the 'additional fees' they quoted after arriving. Especially when they asked 'did the office tell you about ...?, which they did not. So, quote of $535 turned into $880 after the 'tank opening fee $75', the 'filter cleaning fee $65', the 'wash tank fee $65' and 'extra water fee $140'. Pro tips 1) ask what the added charges will be 2) uncover the tanks yourself 3) spray down the solids tank (hose water) and 4) clean your own filter before contractors arrive, save yourself $345."
