"A little miscommunication on the start date but the crews worked very efficiently and quickly. Was expecting it to take longer but they got the new fence up in short order. My dogs were VERY glad to have their yard back! Still missing the caps for the posts (backordered) and two of the latches only would lock from the outside. Was told they would replace them with an alternate latch but not heard back yet on either issue."

"Midwest Fence and Deck is reliable, honest and operates with integrity. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a fence builder. They have installed 2 fences on my property. They took the time to answer any questions I had and provided me with all options available. Sometimes it's hard to find a business you can trust but I am happy I was referred to Midwest fence and deck..."

"Really enjoyed working with Renew Crew. I like that he communicated with me through text as we went along to answer questions, and let me know they’d be here. When it was done and they came back to put the lattice work back up they even moved all the stuff back up on the deck."

"I replaced 22 original windows on my house built in the 1940's. I wanted brown on the outside and wood grain in the inside. They have several color choices which the other companies I looked at did not have available. The windows are absolutely beautiful. Improved the look of my house and I already notice a savings in my utility bills. The salesman was nice and the crew was great. they put in 22 windows in one day and did a fabulous job. So glad I did this."

"Wonderfully! Bill designed the railing and checked with us every step of the way on design elements. He made probably six trips from Topeka to Lawrence checking the design and measuring "just to be sure". Our steps had an unexpected slope which Bill corrected for with the design. He was able to incorporate a gate to access our front flower bed and garden hose connections into the design as well."

"Outcome was excellent.  Dirt Clods Landscaping owner Marcus far exceeded our expectations in creativity, design, construction quality and flexibility.  Not only is he a talented designer who listens to his customer but he understands "curb appeal".  He is very personable and a delight to work with.   This was not a landscape design done on paper by someone in a remote office and created using big box store prefab materials.  Rather this was understanding the customer's vision, agreeing on an overall design, and then tweaking the design as needed during construction to achieve the owner's goal.   All materials were natural stone, wood, brick and mortar.  The original historic design of the property was retained.  Stonework was hand cut to create a unique design which blended into and enhanced the existing terrain.   An added bonus was to discover Marcus is also a skilled carpenter able to replicate existing design features of a 100 year old home.  This was a 7 week project in which Marcus himself was on site every day, directing all workers and subcontractors, and doing much of the work himself.   Everything was custom tailored and we participated with him in the design/build process daily.   The home is located near downtown in a historic district which presented challenges in getting equipment and materials onto the property.  Marcus and crew arrived on site every day at 7:30, took only a short lunch break and often did not leave until well after 5pm.  The work site was always, without fail, left neat and clean at the end of the work day.  No major project like this is without unexpected issues.  Marcus always explained the problem and presented alternatives.  He guided us when we needed help and in hindsight his advice was spot on.  Together we made informed business decisions about how to proceed.   The project was completed as per original contract estimates.  The property looks great and our basement is dry.  You can trust him to understand your expectations and perform quality work at a fair price.   We enjoyed this project from start to finish and were more than pleased with the final result.  We encourage you to consider contacting Marcus at Dirt Clods Landscaping about any landscape project you may have in mind."

"The fence was installed without any challenges. My dog is learning to stay in our yard. The training also involved the tech's dog walking outside my yard to teach my dog to stay even if he wants to run and bark at another dog. It was very helpful to have the distractions there because many of my neighbors have dogs and invisible fences too. <br />"
