"When we decided to finally upgrade our fence, we scoped out some of the fences in our neighborhood. One of the fences that stood out for its craftsmanship and beauty had a CLM Home Improvements sign on it. I contacted Carlos for a quote and he was responsive, professional, and polite. Carlos listened to our concerns, offered suggestions, and gave us a few options to choose from. We were concerned this process might take a while because we live on a corner and our fence required a permit. In fact, another fence company wouldn't even work with us because our project required a permit. Carlos kept us informed throughout the permit process, which was not as bad as we had anticipated. On installation day, Carlos and his team arrived promptly and removed our old, ugly chain link fence and installed a beautiful 6' wooden privacy fence. We couldn't be more thrilled with it! As far as pricing, CLM's price was the best -- in one case nearly $5K LOWER than what another company quoted us! "Communication wasn't amazing. It took me a long time and a few emails to schedule the service, to the point that I was wondering if I'd been had. . On the day arranged I waited and waited only to find they were at my previous address ( which I'd never given them). I'd advise caution with the so-called deals that angie's list offers. I was wrong not to have measured my deck and assumed beased on a hunch that the deal would suffice for an average sized deck when in reality the deal covered a small fraction of the deck, so I had to pay a "regular"i.e., very expensive price for the power wash. I didn't really care that much for the result as far as restoration goes. It was well washed and the person who came to do the service was corteous but a clear sealant was applied and I couldn't tell much of a difference. I do understand this has a lot to do with my not previously measuring the deck and also with my expectation of what my deck wold look like afterwards based on the pictures, but I would say beware. This is it for me as far as angies'list goes. I'll stick with neighborhood recommendations."

"I contacted Earth Friendly Services this morning and I immediately received a reply.  Phil contacted me and I asked for a proposal for installing my new light.  He responded and said he would be at my home in about 15 - 20 minutes.  His responsiveness was exact. He arrived in about 15 minutes. I showed him the light fixture and he said it was no problem and he could do it today.  I also asked him if he would also install a new electrical outlet in my foyer and again he said no problem.  Phil installed the light fixture and the electrical outlet that day and he did a fantastic job.  He was very professional and the quality of work was awesome.  I was also very pleased on the price.  I have put Earth Friendly Services number in my phone book and I will sure use them again.  Thanks Phil!

"Very happy with Beiztell.  They provide a quote promptly after contact and stuck to it. They were in and out in one day to remove the old fence and replace with the hew fence.  When I arrived home I would never have known there were workers in my yard - they cleaned up so well, and didn't make a mess of the grass. The fence looks fabulous - time will tell if the wood wears well, but it is treated pine and looks good.The pool pump fence was a last minute addition to the job and they did a great job as they had to work around plumbing and electrical and slopes. During the installation they kept my husband informed and made to sure to ask questions if there were any doubts positioning, etc. Overall we are really happy with the work and with the people at Beiztell.  Everyone was professional and polite. They were prompt in responding to questions and delivered on the date they said that they would."

"The process began with their designer, Jean, coming to the house and discussing what we wanted and offering some ideas.  Within days we had an estimate and design.  We revised from there and agreed to the work.  They actually were able to being early as another job had to be delayed as the people were not ready for them.  The workers were good and efficient and Colin, the owner, made certain work proceeded well and any questions we had were promptly answered.  Their workmanship is wonderful.  The stairs and decking on them are great with added touches that made them work for getting to the yard better than expected.   The pavers are beautiful and perfectly installed and the retaining wall is simply outstanding -- the have great stone workers.  All nice to work with and attentive to us and detail.
