"We had a collapsed sewer line in the middle of the yard, presumably caused by soil/root settling after the earthquake. They came out for an estimate the day after we called and were the cheapest of 3 estimates we had. They started the next day. Then they did not work 2 days due to rain, and did not work the weekend because they do not work weekends. There were a few problems along the way - some of which weather related, some of which due to broken tools and other issues they had... all causing it to take longer than we had hoped (took 1.5 weeks total, but most evenings they hooked up a temporary line for use). The biggest complaint in the end (other than having no sewage for this time) was that they didn't use a plastic tarp to dump the extraction dirt onto, so additional grass damage occurred. However, they did seed/hay afterwards, which will resolve that problem over time (after it warms up)."

"<p>We contacted Paul C. Hayden Jr. and Sons to set up an appointment for our toilet issue in the master bathroom. The plumber, Tommy, arrived on time and was very knowledgeable of what needed to be done with the toilet to keep it from constantly running and making water hammer type noises in the pipes. The faulty ballcock was replaced with a FluidMaster ballcock and a new flapper was installed. Although the parts only cost $24, the labor was listed as $125, which we found to be a little overpriced; however, it seems to be the and quot;normand quot; with plumbers around here.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>We were very satisfied with our service and would recommend this plumbing company to anyone in the Calvert County area.</p> <br />"

"These guys were great!  They promptly came in with the right price, the right equipment and expertise to quickly and cleanly replace the water main to our home.  They showed up when they said they would and completed all the work within a day and a half, which was surprising because of the cold weather and how far our house is from the street.  The team quickly dug down to the site of the leak, and did so in such a way that when they put things back together our grass looked like it did before they started the repair.  They then brought in a machine that bored along the old water main, not disturbing any other parts of our yard or landscaping.  It was an impressive operation to watch.  The work they did inside the house was equally as professional.  The team cleaned up after themselves, and the concrete they removed and then replaced in our foundation has had no issues since the repair.  I would highly recommend that if you find yourself needing to have your water main line replaced that you call these guys.  They were much cheaper than the other companies that provided us an estimate, and they were the only ones that did not propose digging up our whole front yard to replace the line. <br />"
