The workers had to come back a second time to put another coat of (sealer?) on top because we noticed it was scratching very easily, but after they did that, we haven't had a problem. They also came back a third time to replace all of our molding (cut and stained it) which they didn't do the first time (and unfortunately wasn't part of the bid), but we were ok with that. The price was reasonable."

"It was a pleasure working with Mario, he is very knowledgeable and helpful. Mario?s team did a great job repairing my antique hardwood floor in my 110-year old house. There was water damage, dry rot and missing wood planks. They did a great job at blending in the new wood with the old wood. Professional, knowledgeable and friendly crew. The floors look beautiful! I highly recommend Mario Diaz Flooring. <br /> The job took 3 days total including two coats of oil-based polyeurthane. Once the work was completed I had to wait a total of 48 hours before I could move my furniture back in (24 hours for the oil-based polyeurthane to dry and another 24 hours for it to cure). The smell of the top coat is very strong for the first 2-3 days as expected due to it being oil-based and not water-based. I chose a semi-gloss finish, no staining necessary. The type of wood we had to purchase to match my old floors was very expensive, but blended in nicely."
