"Overall the company and the electrician did a great job. Communication and customer service was excellent. Also, Daniel, the election, was super friendly and courteous. Now, the cost for what was done was excessive. Just to diagnose the problem (two non-working outlets and one coach light, and to install an outlet in the kitchen) was over three hundred. They were suppose to apply some of it to the final cost but it certainly didn?t feel like it after I dished out six hundred. And that was only for installing a new outlet, the coach light was working just fine and it was going to be too expensive to fix the non-working outlet."

"Nick did a great job. He is very easy to work with and is a perfectionist. The demo is a nice way to see what your property will look like before spending any money. I would definitely recommend Nick for your outdoor lighting needs."

"I hired Ken to replace the small back porch on my mobile home that was rotting and unsafe to walk on. Because of the excellent work he did, I have hired him to do several other projects around the house. I am so thankful to have found someone that does quality work at a fair price. Give him a call...trust me, you won't be disappointed!"

"He was very fast and efficient. Took him only a few minutes to install. I then remembered I had an outside electrical outlet that was loose. He said no problem and had it fixed in 5 minutes. It works perfectly and is no longer a shock hazard. I tried to give him some extra money but he refused. He was very polite and said just one service charge. The charge of $ 75.00 was very reasonable. I have been shocked before and let the professionals do the work.

"I purchased a new home that had a horrible landscape in place. I was unsure how to proceed with completely overhauling the front and porch of my house. I had one idea of what the type of patio setting that I wanted to have but no idea at all how to put my vision together. Jerry, the landscape architect was the first person to come to my house for the initial appointment, we walked around my home, I showed him a picture of the patio tile that I wanted and told him to put a proposal together for the rest. I met with him a week later, and was very impressed with his idea and design. Once i hired them they took three days to convert my outdoors, they did an amazing job. It was fast, professional, courteous, and detailed. I am extremely satisfied with their work, Joe took care of overseeing the vision and putting it into action with his crew. The whole crew was professional and courteous. I was so impressed with their work that I hired them to install my outdoor lighting, it as well was a fantastic job, quick, efficient, professional and done in one day. Eventually I will sell my home and when I do I will a absolutely hire the team again to do the landscape in my new home, Joe and Jerry were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and greatly exceeded my expectations."

FAQs for outdoor lighting plan and installation projects in Paisley, FL

Permit requirements for outdoor lighting vary depending on your location and project scope. Simple fixture replacements don't require permits, but projects involving new electrical circuits, extensive trenching, or significant system expansions often do. Local building departments establish these requirements, and many professional electricians handle permit applications as part of their service package.

The timeline for outdoor lighting installation varies based on project complexity. Basic systems might require only one to two days for complete installation, while extensive lighting networks with numerous fixtures and complex wiring needs could extend to a week or longer. Weather conditions, property accessibility, and soil characteristics can all influence how quickly professionals can complete your installation.

Outdoor lighting offers both practical and aesthetic benefits that many homeowners find valuable. Beyond enhancing nighttime visibility and security, well-designed lighting can highlight architectural features and extend outdoor living hours. While installation represents a significant investment, quality lighting may potentially increase property appeal and could contribute to overall home value.

Some outdoor lighting projects are suitable for homeowner installation, particularly simple solar fixtures or low-voltage systems that plug into existing outlets. However, projects requiring new electrical connections, permanent wiring, or integration with home electrical systems demand professional expertise. Electrical work carries inherent safety risks, and improper installation could create fire hazards or code violations.

The operating cost for outdoor lighting depends primarily on your fixture types, bulb selection, and usage patterns. Energy-efficient LED fixtures consume significantly less electricity than traditional incandescent or halogen alternatives. Controlling your lighting with timers, photocells, or motion sensors can further reduce energy usage by ensuring lights operate only when needed or beneficial.
