I described my issue and he was able to provide a rough estimate of what the work would entail. We scheduled an appointment that was within two business days. I received multiple automated updates on the appointment, and the day of, Luke called about 30 mins in advance. To my shame, I hadn’t had vent serviced in over 20 years of residence . "The first red flag is representing himself as Steve Perez on Angi’s list when in fact his name is Ziv. There’s the hard sell and false promises (finish a kitchen remodel in 5-6 weeks) when it took 4 months. Unprofessionalism is an understatement. He communicates through texting like a teenager and screams at the client when in fact errors are his fault or his sub-contractors. We provided appliance specs very early in the process and the electrician still made errors for which Ziv wanted us to pay for. The cabinets delivered were incomplete which he blamed on us. He demanded a final payment and threatened to put a lean on our house when the work was incomplete per the contract. Then Subs starting calling demanding payment which was resolved after we provided cashed checks to Sonart Construction. Don’t believe what I say. Read the BBB review complaints for a well-deserved F rating."

I was somewhat convinced upon speaking with Ryan on the phone and realized I had made the right choice when he completed the work. He kept me informed about his projected arrival. After he came, he inspected the two pieces of furniture to clean, and wrote up the contract. He convinced me to add scotch guarding. When he completed the upholstery work, he brought to my attention that he had tested his cleaning product on my large Tibetan area rug and he felt that he accentuate the color by cleaning it. So I amended the contract for shampoo/clean the carpet. The carpet looks exquisite the following day. The furniture will need another day to dry with all the cushions that he cleaned. He looked over several other areas in my house and offered suggestions. He was careful, communicative and had very reasonably work. I recommend him highly."

They entered my home, reviewed the fireplaces, and told me how they would fix them. After that, I called and called. I called the gentleman who came to provide the quote. He couldn't help me. I called the office again and again. They said they would get me a quote. One never arrived. I had another company come out and repair the problems while still waiting for Chimney Cricket to continue the engagement. The workman seemed knowledgeable, but I took the day off and let workmen into my house just so that I would spend time chasing them and STILL never receive a quote.
