"Prime Asphalt offered peace of mind and a really smooth experience. I had a lot of questions, but Steve and his crew always had an answer. The customer service was exceptional. I could talk to any of the crew and they were helpful - friendly, too! If I called Steve and left a message, he called right back. He even called after the job was completed to see how everything looked (it looked great, by the way!). Although I did not know a lot about the process, Steve never made me feel ignorant for the clarifications I requested. He was always available to assist and he genuinely wanted me to understand - it was a good move on his part because I had a greater appreciation for the work that was completed for us. Because of a conflict/unforeseen event in our neighborhood, by no fault of his nor ours, with short notice, I had to postpone the start date that we were booked for. Steve understood, was gracious about it, and within days we were rescheduled for another suitable time. This company was great to work with. "I have a large and long circular driveway, and it needs to be repaved. I contacted a few reputable pavers for quotes but didn’t receive any calls back. Therefore, I conducted more research. Seal Right came up on the screen with good reviews, so I gave it a call. They had to first remove the old concrete and rebar, spread sand evenly, install the pavers, and put sand in the cracks. Everything looked beautiful when they finished and they cleaned up the area very well. Mario is a very skilled craftsman who oversees the work and also does some of it himself. He has taught his crew how to do the work and requires the same dedication and professionalism from them that he models. Asphalt paving repairs or patches FAQs
With routine maintenance, a new residential asphalt driveway can last 15 to 20 years. In regions with heavy rain or freeze-thaw cycles, plan on extra maintenance to hit the upper end of that range. Concrete surfaces last even longer, from 20 to 25 years. Regular sealing and quick crack repairs go a long way toward preserving both materials.
You can pour new concrete over an existing driveway as long as the base slab is solid. Pros often place a three- to four-inch overlay to create a strong bond. If the old concrete is cracked or spalling badly, it’s wiser to remove it and start fresh to ensure durability.
Keep the surface in top shape by sealing it on schedule and tackling damage right away. Roll on a quality seal coat every three years for asphalt, and reseal concrete as needed while patching any flaws you spot. Staying ahead of small issues prevents bigger, pricier repairs and keeps your driveway looking sharp.
