"I called Do It RIght Plumbing at 11:30 am and there was a repairman in my house in under 2 hours! He diagnosed the problem and replaced a faulty gasket. The faucet now works great. While he was there he asked if there was anything else he could do. We were about to get a new refrigerator so I asked him to look at the shutoff valve for the water hose line to the refrigerator's water/ice dispenser. The valve was old and poorly constructed. He replaced the shutoff valve with a new one. The installation required the cutting and soldering of some copper tubing. He did a great job with this also. I have used Do It Right Plumbing for several jobs and they are my "go to" plumbing professionals."

"I got home after an extended weekend to find my house soaked from a broken pipe under my upstairs bathroom sink. There was wet drywall from my ceiling that had fallen on my living room floor. My carpets,couch and everything I had in my living room were totally soaked. I called a plumber and started trying to clean the mess up in tears. The plumber recommenced I give Paladin Restoration a call as he has worked with him in the past. They arrived in less than an hour and gave me a quick assessment of what was needed to be done. They told me to call my insurance company and they got to work without charging me anything upfront. They set up these industrial sized dehumidifiers and fans and explained what the entire process would entail from start to finish. They were very polite and answered the 100s of questions I asked them. 2 days later they came and met with my insurance adjuster and made sure I understood everything that was going on. The next day everything was bone dry and they removed their equipment. I ended up getting enough money to remodel the room that got wet. I literally couldnt be happier with their service and although I hope to never need them again I wouldnt hesitate to call them to help. Thanks again"

"The original repair date was July 30, 2024 8:00-5:00. At 12:04, I received an email that the technician Trever was on his way. When he had still not arrived and I had not heard from him, I tried calling the Sears Home Service number and was unable to speak to a person to ask what may have happened. I then called Choice and was told they have no control over the companies they hire to provide the repair services but would reach out to Sears to schedule another person. I then received an email that the technician commented "customer declined service" with a payment receipt for $300.00. WHAT!! Trever never arrived and we never declined service to a person who wasn't here and didn't call. I waited all day for him!! Then Sears Home Services had the nerve to send an email asking for me to rate the excellence of service. I couldn't believe it. Meanwhile my dishwasher still hasn't been repaired or evaluated. The next morning, Wednesday, July 31, William C from Sears Home Services called and said he would be here between 12:00 and 12:30. He arrived about 12:45 and went right to work trying to figure out the problem with the dishwasher. He determined that the cost of repair would exceed $450 and it would take at least a week for the parts to be delivered . He spoke to Michelle at Choice Home Warranty and she said she would let him know whether it should be repaired or replaced. She did call back a few minutes later to say it would be replaced. Not long after that I did receive an email from Choice with that news and the allowance of $246 instead of a replacement. I went to Lowe's to see what I could purchase to replace my dishwasher. The $246 barely covers the $174 delivery and installation and $50 charge to remove the old dishwasher. I ended up tapping the "accept" option b/c I felt pressured. The salesman at Lowe's said it would be at least two weeks for any new dishwasher to be delivered to the store and then scheduled for delivery and installation. Also, I have to pay up front for the entire costs involved. Your email stated it could take up to 30 days to receive the eCard for Lowe's. In the meantime, I STILL don't have a dishwasher. I would very much appreciate CHW expediting the eCard for Lowe's so I can purchase a new dishwasher."
