"This is the second time I hired SeaTown Electric to replace lighting fixtures in my home. They came right out assessed my need and came a week later prepared to install the fixture I needed in my bathroom. Colby did a neat and careful installation and when he was inspecting my electrical panel, I let it be known that I was also in the market for a new furnace for my manufactured home. SeaTown then send Cody out to assess my rusting old furnace, and asked if I wanted him to look for one that would fit the small space where my old furnace was sitting, I told him yes, and he called that day with an estimate for the new furnace and its installation. Great guys at SeaTown and Kaitlyn, too who helped me figure out the electrical jargon. Don't understand? Call and talk to Kaitlyn. She'll clear things up for you."

"Charlie and his crew of 2 other gentlemen, replaced an old Federal Pacific electrical panel in my garage and also installed 2 hardwired Level 2 Electric Car Chargers. Additional work included the installation of a couple outlets and two security cameras. I am very pleased with the work."

"Miller's Electrical quoted us about 1/3 the price of another local electrician to install a new breaker and a NEMA 14-50 outlet for an EV charger. Very impressed with their work and the guy who came out to do the installation was friendly and knowledgeable. If you want quality work at a fair price I highly recommend Miller's."

"I was up late planning and budgeting for a potential remodel project and I reached out to Pacific Home Electric. Even at 9:30 at night, Troy responded promptly and helped me with my budget. He was absolutely professional and went out of his way to make sure I was asking the right questions. IMO, the best people to work with are those that help you be a better version of yourself. I have not began work yet but I know that he would be my first choice."

"I highly recommend and encourage you to contract with this company for any of your electrical needs! I am having a new kitchen installed into a space that has no previous hookups, circuits, or sufficient lighting. They got everything done in just a matter of a few hours, but, most importantly, did not sacrifice quality work for being fast. They are friendly, accommodating, professional, high quality, determined to make you happy, and honest in their pricing. They will be the only company I use for any future electric needs!"

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Parkland, WA

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
