"Mayra's ladies did an exceptional job way past my expectations. My mother in law whom is 81 years young was just tickled pink with her room cleaning and that is saying something. I would recommend Mayra she is professional and kind and her ladies were wonderful! "

"I prefer this type of service where a group of people come in, do their job quickly and efficiently, then leave. Lisa has done a great job training each of her crew members to do their own job well. When they leave, my house is like I want it to be. Lisa is very professional and is customer oriented. It is important to her that her crew does a good job and she leads by example. I am pleased with this service."

"Monday they were running behind. Appointment was for 11:00 they arrived around 11:30 and started working at 11:40. They started upstairs which took about an hour and half. Down stairs took about four and a half hours. I provided a lite lunch for them around 3:00. The lady cleaning my bedroom asked about a bag with papers I told her it wasn’t trash. I called Ms. Sonya to ask if the were suppose to dust lamp cover. I sent her a picture and she said yes. Around five I noticed that they had not started mopping. I asked about mopping again I called Ms Sonya to confirm that they were suppose to mop. Overall they were good and I told Ms. Sonya so. Tuesday night my husband noticed his cane was broken. I spoke with Ms Sonya early Wednesday morning and told her his came had been broken she said she would speak with her ladies. I sent her a picture of the broken cane. She called me back and said that the lady didn’t break it. I told Ms Sonya that we couldn’t find the broken piece in the room. She went back and forth with me about her lady would have said something. I told her I was going to look in the trash and then she said that maybe it was swept out. It was in the trash and I sent her a picture. She asked how she could resolve this issue I told her I would check with my husband and get back with her. My husband said he wanted to be compensated monetary. Thursday morning I sent Ms Sonya a picture of the wood and examples of carvings of the wood around 100.09. She started texting me back that I should have said something before they left. I explained to her that I looked to see if they I cleaned everything. I didn’t think about looking for something broken. In her texting me she stated the her ladies said the house was a mess and sent pictures they had taken. I told her first of all the didn’t ask permission to take pictures nor did they tell me pictures were taken. Also I knew my house was a mess. My husband fell twice in October an was recovering from surgery. While he was recovering I had to have eye surgery. So yes the house was a little messy that is why I hired a cleaning service. She said he’s ladies did a good job and she didn’t care if I gave her a bad review I tried to explain to her that the service was not in question it was the broken item. Ms Sonya final comment was Again, I asked you if everything was okay and you said yes. Finally, you can't make a bad comment about my work because it turned out perfect, and you verified it. Thank you and Best Regards I never said the work was perfect. I said the work was good."

FAQs for post construction clean up projects in Pasadena, TX

Plan on one hour of cleaning for every 100 to 200 square feet. That means a two-to-four-person crew will spend eight to 12 hours on a full-size home.

Your pro will walk the space first, size it up, and give you a more precise timeline to be sure every lofty ceiling, baseboard, and tight corner gets the same white-glove attention.

Cleaning fine dust after construction requires a combined approach of detailed dusting and high‐powered vacuuming. Begin by wiping high surfaces such as ceiling fans, walls, window sills, and countertops to eliminate deposited particles. Next, vacuum all floors, carpets, and hard surfaces and mop afterward to remove residual dust. Finally, clean HVAC returns, supply vents, and replace filters to ensure a completely dust‐free environment.

You’ll need safety gear and heavy-duty tools. At minimum, you should wear a respirator, eye protection, and work gloves. Then, bring in a HEPA-filter shop vac, wet mops, microfiber cloths, and a carpet shampooer to lift dust from every surface.

Pros also keep extra filters and trash bags on hand so they can swap them out mid-job and keep the cleanup running smoothly from start to finish.

Book your post-construction cleanup for one to two days after the last tool leaves the site. That 24- to 48-hour buffer lets dust settle so the crew can snag every speck in one visit.

Touch base with your contractor before you lock in a date; if their punch-list slips, you’ll want to shift the cleaning slot to avoid costly rescheduling and make sure the house is truly move-in ready.
