"This is to rescind my previous review - and note my first Angi's fail. Emerald Green Lawn has not scheduled work completion and is being unresponsive. I cannot reach them via email, phone or text (via Angi). My initial interactions with this company were good - they were friendly and attentive, having slit-seeded my back yard and we actually saw some grass grow back there before the August drought took hold. I hadn't heard from the company since but did not expect to until September. I had paid in advance for fall services (aeration, overseeding) and was looking forward to that process starting, but it is now October and all attempts to contact the company have failed. Having left an email, voice mail and a direct text (I had from previous correspondence) was to no avail. Calls are consistently routed to voice mail, and I have not received any return calls. At this point, I'm unsure if I'm being ghosted by this company or they simply no longer exist. "

"I had Apex come out to address some serious issues in my basement, and I couldn't be more satisfied with their work. The initial assessment was thorough, and they clearly explained the problems and the necessary repairs. They provided a detailed and reasonable estimate. They fixed the foundation cracks, installed a new drainage system, and waterproofed the basement. The crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and maintained a clean and organized work area. They were respectful of my home and made sure to minimize any disruption to my daily routine. Throughout the process, communication was excellent. They kept me informed of their progress and were always willing to address any questions or concerns. I highly recommend Apex Basement & Drain Repair."

"The initial work seemed OK, but it quickly became clear that there was still water leaking through the basement walls. After several phone calls, an employee returned to inspect the walls and agreed that the exterior work needed to be redone. I pointed out that plastic pipes had been left exposed in my yard, without drainage to the street. He agreed that this wasn't acceptable. I called multiple times to set up repairs. My calls were not returned. I obtained the number of Joey, the production manager, spoke with him after several attempts, and sent him detailed texts and photos. No return visit materialized. Over the course of the next several months, I called the company multiple times. They actually visited my home a total of 9 more times, but they showed up without a crew, with one guy and a shovel, or saying they didn't have the equipment for the job. Finally a single employee with a shovel appeared, unscheduled, buried the pipes, and said he corrected the plumbing from the sump pump. Unfortunately, he didn't connect the pipes, and the pop up is 8 feet from my porch. Now a fountain erupts from the drain along side the house, and gallons of water discharge along the basement wall, as well as from the pop up. The soil along the foundation has eroded, and after a rain there is standing water for days in front of my porch. This brand new problem has lead to the interior walls originally water damaged, to become wet again, and a wall that was NEVER even damp before is now soaked, and the dry lock paint has bubbled up. Recently a manager came to look at the situation, and said I would be notified of when the repairs would take place. A couple of weeks later, I called, and managed to get the work scheduled. A crew is to come out June 5th. I however, have ABSOLUTELY NO CONFIDENCE THAT THE WORK WILL BE PROPERLY COMPLETED AND DAMAGE THAT THE COMPANY HAS CAUSED WILL BE REPAIRED. After 18 months of excused, shoddy workmanship, untrained employees that have made matters worse, and now new damage, I am beyond frustrated and angry."

"Not impressed. The estimator arrived early, so I had to interrupt work to meet him. Was not wearing a mask for COVID (I was). He took a few pictures and listened to what I needed. I did not get a good feeling from the conversation. Estimate was TRIPLE what others were. I will not consider them again."

"The patio looked good when they finished but upon further inspection, the grooves are holding water which will break down the concrete eventually. The guy who gave us the quote said that the deck debris from the rotted deck, that we were in the middle of deconstructing, would be removed and they would give us a step up into the house from the patio. The guy that showed up the morning they started wanted to charge us $1000 more to get the debris removed and did not give us a step. We had to opt not to pay the extra for the dumpster because could get one cheaper. They guy claimed there was only 3” from the patio to the doorway except upon measuring, it is actually a 6” step down from the doorway to the patio now. On top of that the guy brought an all Spanish speaking crew and left them all day without supervision. We could not communicate with them and they brought alcohol and were drinking on the job."
