"After completion of our bathroom remodel, we now literally give tours to our friends and neighbors. It's spacious and much safer with the ADA layout and new shower concept. Everybody finds the bright new look to be an investment and an enhancement. It adds value but is safer and that's most important. I next plan for my deck to be torn down and rebuilt and will again use Palmetto Renovations only. I have projects and they have expertise."

"The water heater didn't work because the wires inside had short circuited.  He never took the faceplate off to see the issue.  I ended up paying an additional $125 to a plumber to fix the electrical problem.

"Jerry, the Electrician, arrived on time and got right to work. He was honest and professional and he quickly diagnosed the problem (loose wires in a nearby socket), and made the necessary repair. I want to state that I was so very impressed with Tyler's attentiveness to my situation on our call that I immediately asked him if they would provide an estimate for other, unrelated, electrical work I had been planning. Not only did I get an estimate, but Jerry was able to perform the additional work as well. These guys are honest and good-to-the-bone. They know their stuff and I am so lucky I found them today; when I really needed help. Thank you, Tyler and Jerry! I have saved your company's information and will pass along to everyone I know! TW"

"Very professional. Installed new service for my shop and replaced electrical panel. The techs did an excellent job and were very courteous and respectful. I will using them again later to rewire outdated wiring throughout the house. Great job to all involved. 2 thumbs up"

"Myles and his brother Ned are total professionals, They wired up my shed by installing a GFI on the outside and installed 2 outlets on the inside along with a screw in socket in the ceiling for a light. They also installed a carriage light outside the door of the shed. They did an OUTSTANDING JOB and I would hire them again. Top notch work at a very reasonable price. Would have given them 10 stars if I could."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Pelion, SC

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
