"I will refrain from requesting work from this contractor in the future. The lack of communication was concerning, as the contractor was not present at my home as scheduled and was significantly late without notice. Additionally, there was no written quote provided prior to the job, only a verbal, which I find unprofessional. The work remains incomplete and of unsatisfactory quality. Furthermore, I believe I was overcharged, as the labor and materials cost does not align with the scope of work completed."

"We used TBI back in 2005 ish?? Not exact on the year but we were and still are very satisfied with the work they did for us on our front steps and walkway. In replacing the front steps they discovered we had another issue and that needed to be resolved before they could continue with their work. They could have said nothing but instead Bill Taylor pointed out the issue which could have cost us alot more money down the road.. and all these years later we still appreciate the job TBI did for us.. the pavers and front steps are still in great shape thanks to Bill Taylor's high standards and great work ethic. We recommend TBI whenever we can. Recently I visited a friends home who had TBI do work for them and their finished work had the same consistency, quality and beauty that I have come to admire and expect from TBI. "Every phase of the project went smoothly and professioally. . FSBD provided a 3-D rendering of the project and then once we agreed upon size and color, they handles all the parperwork with both our HOA and the county. Contruction went without a hitch and at the end of every day, the crew cleaned up the worksite and made certain we knew was was planed for the new day. Upon completion, there was an issue with 2 of the boards not matching the exact color of the others. FSBD immediately contacted Timbertech and arranged for 2 new boards to be shipped which they installed the day after the replacements arrived. We also contracted for a front step handrail which matches our house perfectly and provides added safety to our home. Since then many of our neighbors have stopped by to see the deck and have also chosen FSBD to build decks for them. All have said the projects are going as planned and they all are equally satisfied with FSBD"

"update as of 6/1/2019: The waterproofing contractor via phone and a letter to express his apologizes for not following up on my issues from the install. He came out immediately to assess the situation and within a week sent a crew out to make the necessary repairs. I believe they went above and beyond in fixing all areas of the waterproofing system that may have caused the failure and flooding. Despite the very delayed response (almost a year later). Paul Salvo Jr. did stand behind his work and make it right. Given my interaction with him, I believe the lack of follow up was an anomaly and I would at this time be comfortable recommending him for service. I purchased my home in July of 2018 from a general contractor who performed a complete rehab of the entire home. As part of the project, Paul Salvo Jr was hired to complete the basement waterproofing. The very day we moved in, there was a heavy rain and the "system" failed as we had water in multiple areas throughout the basement. I contacted the seller and he provided me with Paul Salvo Jr's cell number. I spoke with Paul and he recalled the install and asked that I send him my address and he would schedule a time to come out and assess. That was the last I spoke with him, after multiple texts and phone calls it appears, contrary to what he states on his website, they do not "believe in the time honored tradition of standing behind their work". I much prefer to write positive reviews, however it is also important to share my experience. If you are looking for a waterproofing contractor and you come across Paul Salvo Jr, I suggest you keep looking as assurance of a dry basement is too important to not have someone who is committed to the work they perform.
