"We are first time homeowners and had a clogged pipe that resulted in water damage in the basement and damage to our roof from a storm within a few month period. We've never had to file a claim before or deal with this level of damage, and I didn't know where to start (do I call the insurance company, how do I navigate the process?). A friend who had worked with Funari in the past recommended them to me. I'm so glad they did! They did all the work, talked me through the process, and handed me a check at the end. They are professional, competent, and definitely worth their fee. Highly recommend!"

"<br /> Basements Love US came out in a terrible rain storm to address a water leak in my concrete basement. They identified two areas of trouble; my patio slab connected to the back of my basement and two vertical cracks 10 feet high.  They poured concrete and replaced the slab including a bell drain for drainage which came out very nice. Even built a stair that leads to the sliding glass patio.  They repaired the vertical crack by digging down to the bottom of my wall (excavated) and they used this waterproof gel, then filled the space back with dirt. It looks very nice. The waterproofing and concrete work came with a warranty which gave me comfort. They also sprayed the basement with a mold remediation product and did an OZONE treatment to purify the air. "I contacted Scott a few days ago to schedule an estimate for Sat, March 25th. At that time, We agreed to meet at my house at: 11:30 am. I was looking forward to it because my Wife and I are ready to have our concrete patio done and possibly a few other concrete projects. On Saturday, March 25th, My Neighbor stopped me to tell me that a contractor was knocking on my door at approx: 10:30 am. I was surprised and went to check my phone log and discovered that Scott recently called. When I called him back at 10:50 am to inquire about our appointment for 11:30 am, He apologized and said that he was at my house, and believed that our appointment was at 11:00 am. He offered to turn around and come back to my house but he was already out of my area and I didn't want to inconvenience him. Overall, Scott was friendly, and I believe that he does great work but I really had a concern with him coming earlier without confirming it with me. If I would have known that he may come earlier, I would have made myself available in terms of flexibility. I was there at home in my backyard and was looking forward to meeting him but this is the experience that I had. Unfortunately, I'm still looking for a contractor that is available at our agreed time for an estimate, and to move forward with our project. Case and Point : If I contact him again for an estimate, I'll be sure to leave buffers in front of our scheduled appointment. Surely wish I would have known that up front."

"All existing items (Mulch, river rock, sod, etc.) disturbed during the installation were all put back in their original state. The work was clean and very well done. We're so satisfied with their work, they are coming back in several weeks to install mulch and begin lawn service. <br />"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Penns Grove, NJ

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
