"Arizona Outdoor Landscape Lighting did an amazing job lighting up my commercial building. The owner, Mike was very knowledgeable and had excellent suggestions on how the building should be lit up. The end result was way more than I expected. My tenants absolutely love the way it turned out and I have received many compliments on it. I would definitely recommend them."

Customers say: True professional

"After interviewing about 10 landscaping companies, I selected for my paver project. Showed up on time, flexible to alterations as we progressed with the project. Workers were very good and owner was on site supervising. Made sure everything was the way I wanted before leaving, cleaned up after themselves. Owner, Art, said he would return after first heavy rain to check everything...and he did. I paid him the day they finished and owner returned as promised to tweak the project after monsoon at no additional cost. I would definitely recommend them and plan on using them on my next project. "Steve was amazing from start to finish. They worked fast and did great work. We love our backyard and would recommend them to anyone that needs landscaping done. We did our home work going to home and garden shows, we had four different landscape companies come over and show us their plan and we went with Steve's plan because he really listened to us and gave us everything we wanted. Also the price quoted was what we paid!!!"

"Michael Brandt is very knowledgeable, he explained my options, and worked quickly to upgrade the breakers in my panel. He installed a whole house surge protector to my panel, and also a surge protector to my AC unit. I have a tricky light fixture in the front yard, he will be back on Monday with the parts to repair it. In the future if I have any electrical needs, I will definitely call Mr. Sparky."

"This guy Tony knows his trade very well! His estimate was also cheaper then 2 other guys on home advisers! i wanted to convert the Motion sensors in the backyard To on & off switch! & add 2 more light fixtures to give us more lights! Tony suggested instead of On & off switch! To timer switch! Which was a great recommendation! Timer switch not only gives you an option of turning light on & off! But also you can the timer to come on! & the switch wasn't no more bigger then the original then the one he replaced! I'm very pleased with his work & the cost! I would definitely recommend him!"

FAQs for outdoor lighting plan and installation projects in Peoria, AZ

Permit requirements for outdoor lighting vary depending on your location and project scope. Simple fixture replacements don't require permits, but projects involving new electrical circuits, extensive trenching, or significant system expansions often do. Local building departments establish these requirements, and many professional electricians handle permit applications as part of their service package.

The timeline for outdoor lighting installation varies based on project complexity. Basic systems might require only one to two days for complete installation, while extensive lighting networks with numerous fixtures and complex wiring needs could extend to a week or longer. Weather conditions, property accessibility, and soil characteristics can all influence how quickly professionals can complete your installation.

Outdoor lighting offers both practical and aesthetic benefits that many homeowners find valuable. Beyond enhancing nighttime visibility and security, well-designed lighting can highlight architectural features and extend outdoor living hours. While installation represents a significant investment, quality lighting may potentially increase property appeal and could contribute to overall home value.

Some outdoor lighting projects are suitable for homeowner installation, particularly simple solar fixtures or low-voltage systems that plug into existing outlets. However, projects requiring new electrical connections, permanent wiring, or integration with home electrical systems demand professional expertise. Electrical work carries inherent safety risks, and improper installation could create fire hazards or code violations.

The operating cost for outdoor lighting depends primarily on your fixture types, bulb selection, and usage patterns. Energy-efficient LED fixtures consume significantly less electricity than traditional incandescent or halogen alternatives. Controlling your lighting with timers, photocells, or motion sensors can further reduce energy usage by ensuring lights operate only when needed or beneficial.
