"<br /> During our initial conversations, I asked Jim to find and fix the water damage from the door and balcony. As he was working on the window, he found it and ended up having to remove and rebuild part of an exterior wall. He saw an area he didn't like and found more damage and consulted with my wife and I. It turns out the people that built our home did a horrible job. Not only did they install the door and balcony wrong, they failed to wrap the house before installing the log siding, didn't properly install flashing where the garage roof meets the house and did not properly install gutters. Jim's keen eye found a corner of the house (that supports the second story) 50% rotted away and destroyed by carpenter ants. He also found more severe damage in other parts of the house. My father-in-law had a master carpenter friend stop by, who not only verified everything Jim said, but was impressed by what Jim had done. <br /> <br /> I'll stop now, because this work is still on-going. However, the original job is complete and we could not be happier. I have already told my family, friends and co-workers about Jim and he is the only one we will call if we need anything done."

When I called the number provided, I reached a voice mail letting me know that all calls would be returned after 3:30p. I received a callback as promised and an estimate was scheduled for the next day. Darrin arrived on time and provided a thorough explanation of the work that would be done. He also provided a brochure detailing his work experience and procedures. I was very impressed with his professional attitude and the pride he had in his company. We agreed on a start date but due to weather constraints there were a few delays which could not be avoided since this was an outside job.
