"EDITED TO ADD: Really impressed by the follow-up by Jennifer of the company, who called me at home and made it clear they wanted to make this situation right. I'm impressed by her customer service and have changed my review stars, as she made it clear that this was an aberration and they wanted to make things right. She offered her personal cell phone to arrange any future service, and that type of attention to remedy an unhappy customer speaks highly of how they do business. Wildly incompetent and a waste of our time to hire them. My husband understands plumbing, but works long hours and was trying to "buy back time" by hiring a professional to finalize a toilet kit repair. We hired Foster based on reviews and they sent out someone who was so weirdly patronizing for also being so incompetent. When my husband explained that there was a new kit installed and it was mostly complete, but there was a small leak that needed finalized tightening, the plumber didn't even get down on the ground to inspect the back of the stool. He just informed us we needed a "major rebuild" and a new toilet. WHAT?!?! I sincerely don't know if he's just poorly trained and didn't understand the problem or whether he was trying to exploit us. It didn't make sense that he didn't understand the problem, especially when someone was telling him explicitly what was needed. He also quoted $299 each for two faucets replaced, which is the HIGH end of average costs. I don't mind paying more for quality work, but someone without a basic understanding of a toilet leak shouldn't be charging high market value for their work. My husband paid for the service call and declined services, and used his lunch break to fix the toilet completely (no new parts nor rebuild necessary) and install faucets. We were quoted $920.34 for 3 tasks that took an accountant less than 1.5 hours to complete, without any formal plumbing training. That's not okay. Beyond that, I'm completely unimpressed with the management. Before posting a negative review, I make sure to go directly to management and see what they'd like to do to fix the frustration. Shawna (sp?) kept saying "I understand what you're saying," but clearly didn't. She kept talking about there being set prices for parts. WE DIDN'T NEED PARTS. She also kept defending how qualified he was, but that makes no logical sense if someone non-certified can have a better and quicker understanding of how to fix the problem. There are too many other reliable, qualified, reasonably priced plumbers out there. I will never do business with this one again. They might have other good plumbers, but our guy was not one of them."

In business since 1952, Reico Kitchen & Bath has over 200 employees covering 22 retail showrooms over the states of Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, Delaware and Pennsylvania as well as the District of Columbia.

"Ordered my cabinets on 9/6/21. Upon arrival 12/7/21, 6 items were missing and 2 cabinet doors were the wrong size. The 6 missing items were delivered and I discovered that 4 of the items from the order were a different color (this was not due to the natural variation in wood, they were a completely different shade). Late December Reico delivered 2 cabinet doors to replace the wrong size that was delivered earlier and they were a COMPLETELY different design. For the third time, the replacement doors were delivered in late February. After repeatedly requesting the replacement of the 4 items that were a different color, Reico reps visited my home and I was told they would not keep remaking my cabinets and agreed to replace 1 of the 4 items. Reico delivered the one door on March 7 and I now have cabinetry in 2 different colors. They were agreeable to remake 2 doors three times due to their incompetence in placing the correct order with the manufacturer but would not remake the items that were made the wrong color. When requested, Kesley could not explain Quality Assurance Standards or Tolerance/Limits for color variation. These 4 items should have never passed quality inspection. I am completely dissatisfied with the Customer Service and Quality standards of this company."

"I assumed K&J Mechanical did the work because my unit was working. I should have guessed that something was not done right since it took them over 10 hours to do the work. Later I learned that I was charged for items that they ended up not replacing. They REUSED parts (ex/ air line set) and pinched the line with the new line. This caused future issues because the size of the two lines were different, causing leaks out of the line, plus causing leaks into my new system. They also installed my unit wrong where I could not even replace my air filter. They came out to "service" my unit by adding fluids, allowing my unit to last longer past the warranty date. They refuse to give me an itemized bill for my purchase. They state that AHS would provide that even though I did not pay them. AHS states K&J Mechanical is responsible since I paid them directly. When K&J sent me a "bill" it was edited from the original they have. In the email it states "second". The receptionist informed me that they would not fix their issues because they do not do work for free and they lied saying their only certified technician they trusted was sick for 5 days leaving my tenant without air conditioning for almost 2 weeks. The manager informed me there was only 1 technician he trusted and the rest that work for him were amateurs. This let me know that the "amateurs" were probably the ones that installed my unit. They tried to blame issues with the system on electrical work. I had an electrician and a certified HVAC technician look at K&J work and was told they had done a terrible job and would not pass inspection. The work was not done to code. They informed me parts were reused and not new which is probably why they will not give me an itemize bill."
