"Bobby and his crew at BM Concrete did an outstanding job installing my patio and walkway. Great communication, professionalism, service, quality and timeliness. Bobby was there working alongside his crew every step of the way and they were all very polite and friendly. They did the job exactly as we asked and they were very flexible when we asked for additional work to be done and when we requested changes. Bobby has many years of experience in the business and it truly shows in his work. We highly recommend him! "

Customers say: Super punctual

"The meet and quote went fine. The prep & protection of property was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately the work that was done was overshadowed by the carelessness and lack of protecting our property. We paid them in full and requested to meet about the damages. We pointed them all out. We took photos. They said multiple times they would make it right. The last we heard from them to ?make it right? was 2 months ago. We had debris of concrete in several areas of our desert landscaping, we had some in and on flower pots, concrete splashed on our block home, garage door, front window, patio posts and our custom screen door. We had to clean up, repaint areas, scrub concrete, rake landscaping rock and get a quote to fix our custom screen door which would cost $650.00. In summary, we would not recommend this company based on our experience. The owner is a nice person. We tried to give him the benefit of doubt and patience, but not good customer service in resolving damage they made. "

Small jobs welcome

"He did a great job, he takes a great pride in his work, I would highly recommend them to anyone that wants to have cement work. We also plan on having them come out to do some more of the sidewalk work along the side of our house."

"Stocks Construction did a FABULOUS Job on three separate full building projects from beginning to completion for me! Total cost of all 3 builds was approximately $300,000. This company is well run, HONEST, fast, and does FANTASTC WORK! They have their processes down to a science. On all three major complete builds, flooring, walls, sheet rock, roofing, utilities, wiring, inside and outside painting, landscaping, and indoor and outdoor furniture placement completed on time and within budget! They are extremely easy to work with, and they operate with wonderful integrity and transparency. I couldn’t be happier with these 3 major projects they completed for me! They worked with speed and precision and kept me informed every step of the way! I highly recommend Stocks Construction for ANY construction build… large or small! Lenny A. "

FAQs for concrete foundation installation projects in Phoenix, AZ

A concrete footer is a relatively shallow column of concrete that sits below your foundation walls. Footers spread wider than the foundation, so they can support a higher amount of weight in critical spots, such as below walls. The exact dimensions of footers depend on the home, so larger structures need a larger footing.

To calculate footing size, you need to know the minimum width and depth for houses in your region. Multiplying the width by the linear footprint of the structure will give you the size in linear feet.

To convert linear feet into square feet, you can divide the width by 12. For example, an 18-inch footer is 1.5 square feet per linear foot. Multiply this number by the total in linear feet to get the answer in square feet.

Installing a pier and beam foundation costs $5 per square foot, or $8,000 to $15,000. This style is standard in homes built before the 1960s or those in flood-prone areas.

Concrete weight support ranges from 1,500 to 6,500 pounds per square inch, and footings need at least 3,500 to 4,500 pounds per square inch. Remember that your soil type, climate, and materials used will significantly affect how much weight your footings can hold, especially in certain areas.

It costs between $1,600 and $3,200 to pour a 20-by-20-foot concrete slab. These estimates are based on an average cost to pour a concrete slab of $4 to $8 per square foot. Be sure to discuss the specifics with a pro—they’ll give you an estimate of how much you can expect.

The cost to raise a house is between $3,200 and $10,000. This range refers to a form of repair that involves lifting the entire house to potentially remove the old foundation and build a new one or add to an existing one.
