Cox Roofing's Estimator, Rick Harris, arrived at my home on Tuesday, June 28th, right on time.  Though I was having a problem with rain seeping through one area of my roof, Rick was helpful in pointing out several other areas that also needed work.  He prepared an estimate, and the expected repairs were scheduled for Friday, July 1st, weather permitting.

Threatening rain on July 1st, I was happy their crew got a jump on rush-hour traffic and arrived at my home at 8 A.M. (before their actual work day began).  Their crew was prompt, efficient and everyone at Cox Roofing had excellent customer service skills.  The work was completed by 10 A.M., before it started raining, and the work area was cleaned up.

"I would definitely contact William Mackay Roofing again! I was told by a different contractor who fixed some gutters, that I needed to have someone who knew how to fix flat roofs inspect my flat porch roof. After asking around, several people highly recommended contacting William Mackay. Brittany quickly scheduled for a technician to come out -- and the same day Mr. Mackay inspected my roof and emailed me the proposal. He answered all my questions (as did Brittany!) "A+ for ethics and professionalism. The repair on our old and non-standard roof was tricky and ultimately didn't last (roof leaked within 14 months). However, when the owner was contacted (he's busy so it took a while) he came out personally and arranged for an alternative fix to the roof. The owner, Dave Garner, did this at no charge, without being asked. We still don't know if we have a permanent solution but we're really impressed with Dave and the company's business practices. "My husband and I had a lot of questions and discussion with Robert before we made the choice to go with K&R Roofmasters. Robert was very patient and thorough in his presentation of what his company does when replacing a roof and in explaining our options. After his initial presentation, we had many questions before making the decision. (We had a previous bad experience with a different contractor when trying to obtain a roof estimate, so we were overly cautious.) All our questions and concerns were met with patient explanations. Robert was the ONLY contractor that went in our attic to inspect the roof from the underside before giving us an estimate.  When we made the decision to use K&R, we felt pretty confident that we would be satisfied.
Our roof was way past its lifetime. It was "potato chip" condition and there were leaks. Because our budget was straining from making this purchase, we were concerned about what would be discovered under the old roof shingles. Unfortunately, a lot of pieces of plywood had rot in it and had to be replaced. Robert's team checked every piece of our roof for structural integrity so only the pieces which were actually damaged would be replaced. This helped to save us money rather than just telling us it all had to be redone. Robert never tried to pressure us into doing unnecessary work which we really appreciated.
The team Robert used was a group of nice, hard-working, respectful men; Robert supervised and did some of the hands-on work. Everything was cleaned up well and the end result is a very well done, attractive roof with a power fan to keep our attic cool to help protect the shingles so they will last longer. We have gone through an entire winter with snow, ice, wind, and lots of rain and there has not been one leak or problem with our roof. Robert told me several times if we have any issues, call and he will tend to it and I'm sure he will, if needed.
Also, anytime I called the office, I had respectful and kind staff members help me.
I would highly recommend K&R and if I have a roofing need, I will be calling Robert!

"Tony and AJ showed up on time. They were very friendly and got right to work. Because the original ceiling fan was not installed properly, AJ had to make do with what was installed in the ceiling. He explained everything as he did it and did not push for an option that I didn't want. The end result is just what I wanted. Both Tony and AJ were very professional. "Steve arrived on time, inspected the roof, and did spot repairs. He then showed us before-and-after photos as well as photos of issues, and he gave non-pressure, informed explanations/suggestions.
