"I am giving 5 stars all across the board because (1) a friend recently had his house painted and highly recommended them; (2) the price was comparable with quotes received from other contractors; (3) Alex and James were professional, friendly and extremely patient & prompt with answers to questions I had (and there were a lot) (4) the paint crew was on time, professional, courteous/friendly and considerate of my property and outside items (furniture, grills, potted plants, etc.) and (5) everyone made this a pleasant, seamless project compared with recent projects we've had done. The crew was in our backyard and I went to tell them to just paint around a small shed against the house that I couldn't move. To my surprise, they moved it and that part of the house was already painted! They also removed & re-installed our solar screens when I thought they would just cover them. Their crew's system was so well executed that everything (taping, caulking, scraping/priming, painting, touching up and cleaning up) was totally completed within 7 hours which, I believe, included a lunch break. A&J Keith Painting also repairs cracks/stucco if needed and does not water down paint unlike other contractors, which I can confirm is true because I was home and periodically checked on the progress of the crew. Also, the crew was not noisy, didn't play loud music, knocked on the front door when they needed something and were super polite. Needless to say, we are totally pleased overall. Dany was prompt in answering his phone, providing me a quote, and giving me a timeline of when his crew could begin. Work included replacing all trim boards , painting all the interior, installing all new flooring, repainting kitchen cupboards, installing new countertops and new backsplash and painting the exterior of the house. "A mixed bag. The work they did was good. The painters were on time, clean, and professional. They left the house in good order, and taped off well, I only found one small overspray on the kitchen tile that was easily scrubbed away. Unfortunately, we left very frustrated by the final product and will likely be looking to have the job redone. I attribute that more to the following communication though than the workers' performance. We received 2 quotes, one for lacquer and one for paint. My wife said she liked the lacquer, but has hesitations about the vapors and cost at the initial consultation. No decision was made, and we held off for several weeks making the decision who to hire until we spoke to several painters. When we said we wanted to move forward with the paint job, they showed up and lacquered the cabinets. I can understand the confusion, weeks ago my wife said she liked it, but no decision was made at that time which to use. When I messaged them I was ready to move forward with "painting", I intended paint, not lacquer. Instead of reaching out to ask or confirm which product if they were unsure, they lacquered my kitchen and bathroom cabinets. A higher cost and product I didn't want. The cost also happens to fall $50 short of qualifying for the $2500, 10% off coupon of course. They did honor the discount though when we brought this up. On a side note, we did tell them we wanted the cabinets to match our current doors and baseboards, and gave them the paint code we had for those. The color turned out much whiter than the rest of the house. They said it was probably due to fading on the doors over time. That makes sense, but I wish they would have mentioned that prior to painting, as now the colors are off. Our doors are a warm, cream white and the cabinets are a cool, bright white. Being picky here: we do have cabinets that have that oak wood grain in them. They were able to get out most of that grain, but the results are a bit inconsistent from door to door. Some are completely smooth, while others have traces of grain around them. I really didn't need the grain eliminated and didn't know they were going to try but think it looks good on the ones they got it out completely. It is a bit odd looking that it looks mostly gone. We're likely going to be looking to have this redone now so the correct product is used and color is correct."

"Let me begin by saying how good it was to do business with Kent, Edgar and his crew. It was the best home improvement I have ever received. Kent is a professional with tremendous knowledge of his services. He was prompt, courteous and service focused and pleasure to do business with. Edgar the crew manager was attentive to the details of specific requests and was meticulous in completing them. His crew was courteous and professional. Now I will talk about the services: Popcorn removal: The Beehive method of popcorn removal is clean and required a minimum of furniture movement. The finish that was applied to the ceilings was well done and the painting was excellent. Clean, minimum work for me to move furniture and an excellent job on the new ceiling treatment.... I think that says it all. Electrical: At my request, Ken made several recommendations for lighting improvements. The recommendations were sound and my wife and I said OK. The results changed our kitchen dramatically.... wow the right lighting made a significant improvement to our kitchen. Ken also recommended a novel approach to reading lights in our Master Bedroom and it has been wonderful, excellent light and the ability to adjust light levels and individually select lights is the way to go. The lighting solution's required drywall work in both the kitchen and the master bedroom. The repair of the drywall was very well done and there is zero sign that work has been done. Ken and his team also replaced every outlet and switch in the entire house to give it a fresh look that would go with our painting and replace fixtures that were 30 yrs old. Interior Painting: Ken and his crew repainted every square inch of our house including the doors. The quality of the work was excellent and very clean. We stayed in our house during the work and the crew was very good at cleaning up daily. The work was done in a timely fashion with high quality. Trust: My wife and I had complete trust in the crew with respect to leaving them in the house and having them lock up when they were finished. Other than a few key items, I left everything else in place. I had no issues what so ever. Summary: Each aspect of the extensive work that Ken and his crew did was excellent. Beehive turned the interior of the house dramatically..... it feels like we are in a new home. Ken and his crew were very easy to work with and professional. The quality of the service was excellent and I felt like it was competitively/fairly priced"
