"I am giving 5 stars all across the board because (1) a friend recently had his house painted and highly recommended them; (2) the price was comparable with quotes received from other contractors; (3) Alex and James were professional, friendly and extremely patient & prompt with answers to questions I had (and there were a lot) (4) the paint crew was on time, professional, courteous/friendly and considerate of my property and outside items (furniture, grills, potted plants, etc.) and (5) everyone made this a pleasant, seamless project compared with recent projects we've had done. The crew was in our backyard and I went to tell them to just paint around a small shed against the house that I couldn't move. To my surprise, they moved it and that part of the house was already painted! They also removed & re-installed our solar screens when I thought they would just cover them. Their crew's system was so well executed that everything (taping, caulking, scraping/priming, painting, touching up and cleaning up) was totally completed within 7 hours which, I believe, included a lunch break. A&J Keith Painting also repairs cracks/stucco if needed and does not water down paint unlike other contractors, which I can confirm is true because I was home and periodically checked on the progress of the crew. Also, the crew was not noisy, didn't play loud music, knocked on the front door when they needed something and were super polite. Needless to say, we are totally pleased overall. "Amazing hard workers!! First of all, I was dreading these painting quotes because I was doing the whole interior of my new home. I received a few that were just ridiculous and succumbed to the fact I would have to handle this myself. Then I saw Alex’s painting on Angie’s List and read the great reviews on cost and workmanship and decided to try one more time. I’m SO glad I did. He came in way under what I had been being quoted and in my budget. There were follow up calls to make sure I had my paint colors and to let me know when and what time they could start. They showed up on time everyday, worked hard 8+ hour day, cleaned up, moved furniture back where it was. All to do it again the next day. (4 days total). "Let me begin by saying how good it was to do business with Kent, Edgar and his crew. It was the best home improvement I have ever received. Kent is a professional with tremendous knowledge of his services. He was prompt, courteous and service focused and pleasure to do business with. Edgar the crew manager was attentive to the details of specific requests and was meticulous in completing them. His crew was courteous and professional. Now I will talk about the services: Popcorn removal: The Beehive method of popcorn removal is clean and required a minimum of furniture movement. The finish that was applied to the ceilings was well done and the painting was excellent. Clean, minimum work for me to move furniture and an excellent job on the new ceiling treatment.... I think that says it all. Electrical: At my request, Ken made several recommendations for lighting improvements. The recommendations were sound and my wife and I said OK. The results changed our kitchen dramatically.... wow the right lighting made a significant improvement to our kitchen. Ken also recommended a novel approach to reading lights in our Master Bedroom and it has been wonderful, excellent light and the ability to adjust light levels and individually select lights is the way to go. The lighting solution's required drywall work in both the kitchen and the master bedroom. The repair of the drywall was very well done and there is zero sign that work has been done. Ken and his team also replaced every outlet and switch in the entire house to give it a fresh look that would go with our painting and replace fixtures that were 30 yrs old. Interior Painting: Ken and his crew repainted every square inch of our house including the doors. The quality of the work was excellent and very clean. We stayed in our house during the work and the crew was very good at cleaning up daily. The work was done in a timely fashion with high quality. Trust: My wife and I had complete trust in the crew with respect to leaving them in the house and having them lock up when they were finished. Other than a few key items, I left everything else in place. I had no issues what so ever. Summary: Each aspect of the extensive work that Ken and his crew did was excellent. Beehive turned the interior of the house dramatically..... it feels like we are in a new home. Ken and his crew were very easy to work with and professional. The quality of the service was excellent and I felt like it was competitively/fairly priced"
