"It was a pleasure to give Carbone's Welding and Fabricating Services a 5 +star rating. As for Nick being such a young man, he is pleasant, courteous and very professional. I needed a welding project done for my 56 YEAR OLD IRONING BOARD (which is no longer manufactured, of course). He came to my home, analyzed the problem and said yes he could do it. He took it with him and within one week brought it back in perfect condition. I can now iron for another 56 years! I highly, highly recommend Nick if you want a job done right and very reasonable."

"We couldn?t recommend Juan and his team enough! Each person we encountered were efficient, professional, kind, and prompt. They take great care in the work they do and it shows. Juan went above and beyond for us, always asking about our preferences in the repairs that our landlord ?OK?d? to help our spot feel more like ours. They always left the apartment clean, they took care to protect our items from paint and debris, and there was overall very thorough communication. He estimated 4 days and took exactly that which was so helpful when it came to planning our week out. I highly recommend working with this team for any repairs, renovation, installation, or project you might need."

"We hired Frank's team to replace our exterior front stairs and railing. We needed a replacement of the iron railing, tread and steps. Everything was super professional and efficient, starting with the evaluation and the quote (which was very reasonable). Frank was communicative throughout and the crew came to do the demo and installation as soon as the materials were ready and the weather allowed. The end result looks great and they confirmed that we were happy with the outcome before packing up! We will be happy to work with them again."

FAQs for wrought iron fence repair or weld projects in Pilsen, IL

Wrought iron fence installation costs $1,200 to $4,200 on average. Your final cost depends on several factors, including the length and height of the fence, the intracity of the ornamental design, and the quality of the materials used. Iron fences cost $7,000 or more to install on the high end. Wrought iron fences are more expensive than fences made using other materials.

Wrought iron railings cost an average of $2,600, including labor and materials. Hiring a professional to install iron railings is crucial to ensure accuracy and safety. The price depends on the type of metal used, installation location, aesthetic elements, and whether you’re installing it indoors or outdoors. Materials include plain black iron, galvanized iron, and ornamental iron.

You should never paint over rusted wrought iron fencing. All this does is mask the underlying issue, as rust can slowly deteriorate the integrity of your iron fence, diminishing its durability and stability. Painting over a rusted fence also causes poor paint adhesion, which can lead to flaking. Be sure to remove rust and smooth the surface before painting.
