"About 100 l.f. of cedar picket fence was removed and replaced. The work was quoted promptly with an estimated start date. All questions were answered promptly. We were emailed and called prior to the work starting. The crew was professional and neat. The work took two days; one to remove the old fence and install new posts and one to install the fence. The crew was easy to work with and offered suggestions for solving little issues. They even put up a temporary fence for the dog. The old fence was hauled away. The area was cleaned when work was complete. We are very happy with the new fence. This was the most pleasant experience we’ve ever had with a contractor. I highly recommend Defence Enterprises."

"Not only did Scott do a great job installing my fence around my patio, he installed my fence in the middle of winter, while the ground was still frozen. He also chopped down a couple of trees for me. Scott did a great job installing my fence, the price was right & my fence looks nice!! "Salesman Phil was a pleasure to work with; he was prompt with the paperwork & returning calls, and the installation was completed when promised. Despite discussing the gate swing with Phil, verifying that the drawings were changed, and informing the installation crew on the day of work; the gate was installed swinging the wrong way! However, the gate swing was corrected on the same day that I called to inform them! I have only a minor complaint; when the gate swing was change, it caused a noticeably larger gap between the gate and fence. Because everything else was done with such great detail, I would have expected that the gap would have been concealed by adding a 1/2 board, similar to how they finished off the end of the fence. The bottom line is that we are very pleased with the quality of work and would recommend them to friends and family"

"Erik and team did an excellent job! They repaired the existing fencing, instead of completely replacing it which would have costed a great deal more. They called when the weather was bad to delay - but then showed up promptly when the weather finally improved. The job was done quickly, expertly and professionally. "One thing is my service never got done until the first week of July because we had rain all of June and it was supposed to be done then but they could not set the cement and have the posts stay upright. But they did measure my area to find out how much fencing I needed. I cannot blame them because of the weather conditions. They did not ask it to rain so much.|When July came they came out and set post. There were two men that came out both did a real good job. My dogs are real happy because they have a fenced in backyard and can run free. They were here at least half a day. I would use them again."

I love it. We have had it for about a year now and it looks great. He is a great communicator, returns calls promptly, and flexible. </p> <p>Cons: He bid the job and then asked for additional money because he measured incorrectly. The mistake was found after the job was in process and we had agreed on a price. It really was a minimal amount (less than $100) but I felt it was his mistake and he should have not asked for additional money. I had to pay the additional money for the product he misquoted. </p> <p>Overall: I would highly recommend him but would make sure his quote includes any mistakes on his behalf. </p>"
