"This company did a wonderful job on the pavers for the patio. It seem to be a difficult job due to the slope we have in the back yard. They executed the job great. We are very happy with the results. I would recommend them to my family and friends any day."

"Provider was very responsive with quote and scheduling.  Did an outstanding job, and make contact after application to ensure I was satisfied with job done and to address any issues.

Debottis made sure the seal coating was applied to asphalt an not mating stamped concrete sidewalk or adjacent concrete garage door entry ways.

Extremely satisfied and will be doing business with Debottis again.

Only regret is I never got to or needed to meet the actual people at Debottis.  "

"One screw type pier installed. 2 workers hand dug hole below bottom of foundation. Cleaned out under foundation for platform. Although foundation was deeper than I thought, the hole was done much better and quicker than I envisioned. Pier was screwed at bottom of hole with a hydraulic motor. Once limit on hydraulic pressure was reached, the pier was cut at proper level, platform installed, and cracked section of foundation was raised with a hydraulic jack. Crack in stonework closed up nicely without going too far and creating additional cracks. Workers had 5 and 15 years experience doing this work. Very professional and did a very nice job every step of the way. Note that I (homeowner) chose to move and reinstall landscaping stones and gutter drain. Also, tuckpointing/repairing the cracks was not included in the quote. I plan to do that myself at a later date."

"Nader's was very good from start to finish. We got a free estimate of the job, and the price was less expensive than all the other options, and we shopped around a lot!

We hired them to reline our cracked chimney flue with a poured concrete product. When they arrived to do the job, it ended up taking four separate days to complete, two more visits than expected to finish up some patch work that was difficult to access, but in the end the chimney is relined and they honored the original price quote. We are very satisfied with their service and our chimney. Thanks Nader's!

"James installed a new Andersen patio door for us. My wife and I picked out the door style, color and hardware. James came out to our house to measure the opening (it's a custom door) then ordered the door from his supplier. Shortly after the door arrived, he installed it. The result is fantastic! I've said it before, but it's worth repeating, his workmanship is of the highest quality!!"

"I can be a difficult person to please. I need to know exactly what is being done and why. BCLM explained every single step of the process, what it meant to me as the homeowner, and why it was important. Our job was a custom installation that some other companies didn't want to touch. BCLM made small work of it. They were in and out in two days and their price was extremely competitive. I highly recommend them."

FAQs for concrete patios, walks & steps installation projects in Pinconning, MI

Most sidewalks rely on a ready‑mix blend of Portland cement, sand, gravel, and water that trucks deliver to your site and pour in one continuous lift. For added strength, many contractors fold in fiber mesh or steel reinforcement. This mix cures into a rock‑solid slab that stands up to foot traffic, freeze‑thaw cycles, and daily wear for decades. Expect a pro to recommend a 4‑inch‑thick pour for standard walkways.

With the right mix, proper drainage, and routine upkeep, a concrete sidewalk can last 25 to 50 years. Freeze‑thaw cycles, road salt, and heavy loads all shorten that timeline, but sealing every few years and patching small cracks early keeps damage in check. Think of sealing as inexpensive insurance for decades of safe, stable footing. In milder climates, some slabs push well past the 30‑year mark without major repairs.

Concrete sidewalks crack as a result of significant temperature fluctuations and heavy load pressures. The freeze-thaw cycles and sustained weight from vehicles or intense foot traffic force the concrete to develop cracks over time. Applying a premium sealant every two to three years and substituting salt with sand for de-icing minimizes crack formation. Regular maintenance and timely repairs safeguard the sidewalk’s structural integrity and extend its service life.
