"PBH did several house projects for me, including installing gutters and fancy fascia under my roof eaves. The work was perfect and all the workmen were polite, neat and clearly dedicated to making a perfect finished product. When they left, they cleaned up my entire yard. I would definitely rehire this company! "

"I interviewed a number of companies for the renovation of my driveway. It was a ribbon driveway with 2 cement tracks surrounded by dirt. Never having done a project like this I was, of course, nervous about choosing a competent company to complete this expensive project. Although I was impressed with all of the company presentations, I finally chose System Pavers who seemed to be very knowledgeable in both design and construction. They started the job when promised and were always available if I had questions. In particular, Chris, the project manager and Silvia, the design consultant, had given me their phone numbers and quickly returned any calls I made to them. The finished product was beautiful and, as a bonus, completed ahead of schedule."

"Travis and his team did a wonderful job at completing our front yard landscaping vision. They worked with us to come up with a plan that fit our esthetic and budget. They weren’t pushy or upsellers like some of the companies I had previously interviewed. They were knowledgeable about which types of plants to use where and why, they were punctual and completed the job in a very timely manner, they were professional and left the site clean and tidy each day, and they even did little things to go above and beyond (brought our trash cans out on trash day without being asked, refilled our dog’s water when it was low, etc.). We had a very positive experience with Travis and his team and we were very happy with our curb appeal after they completed the job. We would recommend them for a landscaping job."

"The jobs went smoothly and finished within the day. The owner was very communicative, onsite, and always sought out input to see if things were to my liking which i really appreciated. Team was friendly, fast, and did great work. Left the area cleaner than when they came. Had them do a small driveway pour to see how they worked and the workmanship of the concrete. Overall, I am very pleased I went with JC Landworks. Will definitely use them again as I have much more concrete work around my home I would like done in the future."

"Great experience overall. He arrived promptly in the morning as promised, removed the old softener, did extensive plumbing work replacing and adding copper tubing and installed the new water softener. He also came by two days later as we had called him with questions regarding programming the new softener with no additional charge. We will be using Daniel again soon to install a ceiling fan in our breakfast nook."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Pine Valley, CA

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
